Introduction

英文单词动态偏旁记忆法(也称编码记忆法)是入门起点比较高但效果显著的英文单词记忆方法。它适合我国高中或以上英文水平的读者，也适合母语为英语的人士。作者的英文版著作“Memorise English Vocabulary the Quantum Way”(书号ISBN：9780955575105)已经在英国出版，英国的几个网上书店和亚马逊(Amazon)在英国、德国、日本、美国和加拿大的网上书店也有出售。
动态偏旁记忆法的发现源自于作者对短时记忆世界冠军Andi Bell的记忆方法的研究。在研究过程中，作者发现不能持久记忆是许多记忆方法的致命弱点。经过几年努力，作者创造了一套完整、有效、简单的适合于任何单词(包括其他语种的单词)记忆的方法。动态偏旁记忆法以量子计算机的一个原理作为指导，以英语单词的第一个字母以及中英单字字典作为编码，达到了其他编码记忆法未能达到的简单易学、覆盖面广和牢固有效等三个基本目标。对于难记和容易混淆的单词，动态偏旁记忆法的记忆效果尤为显著；另外它为词汇记忆扩展提供了一个前所未有的平台。
读者可以在本书中看到以下几个和其他的单词记忆书籍完全不同的地方：
(1)目前还没有一种编码方法能像动态偏旁记忆法那样简单、有效地涵盖所有单词；
(2)目前还没有一本书全面地使用部分逆拼法；
(3)动态偏旁记忆法是世界性的，对母语是英语的人同样有效。2007年英国广播公司四台推出了一个名为“NEVER MIND THE FuLL STOPS’的学英文节目，里面就有类似于动态偏旁记忆法的记忆比赛，不过它仅局限于记忆拼写，并未提及记忆含义。
作为实验，作者专门找了一些传统上特别难以持久记忆的单词例子。读者可以尝试按书中给出的具体方法进行记忆，看看效果如何。现将部分单词举例如下：abst·"use，acquies-cence，ascetic，aseptic，charisma，consensus，conscious，conscience，expatriate，expatiate，status，sta-ture，statue，statute，chrysanthemum，ophthalmic，revere，reverie，severe，verve，rhythm，rhetoric：，vernal，vernacular。
如果读者能持久记忆上述单词的话，一定会信心倍增，那么别的单词恐怕就更不在话下了。
读者可能会觉得一个以中文为母语的人教以英文为母语的人记忆英语单词肯定是班门弄斧，不过别着急，等你看了作者英文版的书再下结论不迟。母语是英语的人同样存在记忆单词的困难，要不然美国人考研就没有专门记GRE单词的必要了。举例来说，牛津网(as-koxford．eom)列举的adverse和averse这两个词，他们(当然也包括我们)经常混淆，而用动态偏旁记忆法就很容易分清楚。
在这几年的实践中，作者还形成了一套完整的量子法形成记忆元素和超时记忆的理论，并且用这些理论来指导实践。希望读者能充分领会这些理论的要点并用于单词记忆，不仅要知其然，而且更要知其所以然。量子法形成记忆元素和超时记忆的理论看起来好像很难理解，但实际上非常简单，作者对此会在书中有专门的解释。
