第一部分优势谈判步步为营
和下象棋一样，优势谈判也有一套完整的规则。谈判和下象棋之间的最大区别在于，在谈判的过程中，你的对手往往并不了解谈判的规则，而通常情况下，他的每一步行动都已经在你的预料之中。这并不是夸大其词，事实上，许多年来，成千上万名学员与我分享了他们的谈判经历。从他们反馈回来的情况来看，在掌握优势谈判的方法之后，我们大都可以事先判断出对手会作出怎样的反应。当然，这种方法并非万无一失，但它成功的概率非常高，所以我相信，与其说谈判是一项艺术，还不如说是一门科学。
如果你喜欢下象棋，你就会知道，几乎所有的棋手都有自己的一套策略。谈判也要讲究策略。在我讲述谈判策略时，我会讨论一些带有风险性的策略，我还会告诉你如何选择适当的策略。通常情况下，只要能够选对适当的时机和适当的策略，你就可以把风险降到最低。一般来说，开局策略通常可以确定谈判的方向，中场策略则会保证谈判的方向不发生变化，而当你准备结束谈判或是结束交易时，你就会用到终局策略。
