最后的结果是，聚会的地点确实定在了菲尼克斯市。这让安吉丽娜着实很激动，因为她经常感到寒冷，甚至希望在沙漠的夜晚也能有滚滚热浪。我们下午很晚才到——虽然才是4月初，但当地温度已经超过华氏90度——然后驱车前往骆驼背山脚下一个漂亮雅致的酒店——加州豪园。到达那里后，我们发现曼克斯叔叔已经给安吉丽娜和我预定了“浪漫套间”。也就是说，屋里已经有香槟和巧克力在恭候我们，而且当我们在酒店餐厅就餐时，侍应生会为我们在套间内点起好几打的蜡烛。
