唐前锋，广东佛山南海人，1991年毕业于清华大学。大学期间开始接触漫画，其作品曾获清华大学“首届学生艺术节”一等奖。2009年重拾漫画创作，利用业余时间为《南方周末》《南方都市报》等创作时政漫画，已出版漫画书《生于1968·童年》《生于1968·中学》，广受好评。
作者唐前锋是作品中“小峰”的原型，人称老唐。老唐1986年考入清华，校内称6字班。到2016年，他和大学同学相识整整30年，虽然当年的斗志昂扬已然变成了今天的淡泊明志，而美好无畏的青涩时光越发夺目。有人说，1980年代是中国近百年来zui好的年代，那个年代的大学生有很多共同点，他们有很多美好的回忆与遐想。初入象牙塔的新鲜好奇、初碰爱情的笨拙慌乱，以及转眼各奔东西的依依不舍……会让读者看到那个年代别有特色的大学风貌和父辈们的成长历程。
