序：世界是你的，去拿它

关于影响力，我最喜欢的故事是底下这一个。

二十四岁以前，前往我的家乡下营，需要参考坐标—要用知名度高一级的麻豆和新营来导航，否则无法抵达。

“下营，位于麻豆和新营中间。麻豆，中秋月饼的好伙伴，袖子的故乡；至于新营不用介绍，因为有火车经过。”

事实上，下营不只流着海盗的血液，同时也散发着神明的仙气。但小时候，没人告诉我这些，所以我一点也不尊敬它。

二十四岁之后，我开始说故事，装神弄鬼的开关被打开了，参考坐标变成了海盗和神明。

介绍家乡时，我会故作神秘：“呼，那个地方啊，恐怖喔，杀人县、会赢乡、赢钱村。”（台南县、下营乡和营前村的闽南语发音。）

“杀人？赢钱？这是海盗住的地方吧？”

“没错，我的家乡下营确实跟海盗有关。”

下营周遭，柳营、林凤营、中营、新营、左营……这些名字里带有“营”的乡镇，大都是当年郑成功军队来台驻扎、开垦的地方。

“你的意思是……郑成功是海盗？”

“错、错、错，郑成功不是海盗，他的老爸郑芝龙才是。”

一半商人一半海盗的郑芝龙，后来投降明朝，明朝覆亡之后，被接续的政权清朝诱降。清朝利用郑芝龙，希望他儿子投降，但郑成功一直不从。

“所以我们是海盗的后代！”

除了弄鬼，我也喜欢装神，像明朝的开国皇帝朱元璋一样。

下营最著名的地标——“玄天上帝庙”，当地人像喊自己的爹一样，亲切地叫祂一声“上帝爷”。

上帝爷是郑成功从大陆带来的，但源头在朱元璋身上。

话说，元朝末年，朱元璋和陈友谅，争夺天下。

打了大败仗的朱元璋，一个人往武当山逃，在后有追兵的情况下，远远看到前面有间破败的小庙，想都没想就冲了进去──没想到门口结满了蜘蛛丝。

躲进供桌底下的朱元璋，抹了抹脸上的蜘蛛丝，心都凉了，因为追兵一到，看见门口破碎的蜘蛛丝，肯定会进来搜索。

看来今天就是命丧之日，朱元璋悲从中来，忍不住哭了。

朱元璋一哭，庙里突然传来笑声。他一惊，左看右看，根本没人啊。随后，他再哭，庙又笑。抬头一看，笑声居然来自庙里的神明。

朱元璋赌气说，万一今天他有命活，明天就把庙拆了。

随后，追兵到了。正当小兵要进庙搜索时，立刻被大将军喝止：“你是笨蛋吗？庙门口布满密密麻麻的蜘蛛丝，这代表庙里没人！”

怎么可能，蜘蛛丝不是被自己撞毁了吗？朱元璋摸一摸脸，蜘蛛丝全不见了。

抬头看着神明，祂又笑了。

逃过一劫的朱元璋最后当上皇帝，为了感念小庙神明的相助，于是下了一道圣旨，封祂为明朝的“开国神明”，并升级为“玄天上帝”。

这个故事怎么来的？

我个人认为最靠谱的说法是：历代君王皆世袭，老子传儿子，但朱元璋是一介平民，为了给自己一个正当性，他编造了这个故事，用来告诉百姓，他的皇位是神明赐予的。

凭着玄天上帝的故事，朱元璋瞬间逆转胜，而且是浑身发光的那种逆转胜。

不喜欢自己的故事，可以，那就为自己打造一个喜欢的故事。

朱元璋用故事改变了自己的命运：老天爷不给他皇帝命，他就自己说一个──神明命。

同样地，不认识我的家乡，没关系，那我就为你说一个难忘的故事。

从此，下营不只是我一个人的下营，它同时也是海盗的下营、神明的下营，更是你的下营。

世界是你的，但你必须自己去拿。

至于怎么拿？

说一个有影响力的故事。
