师永刚，生于上世纪70年代初，香港凤凰周刊杂志社执行主编，作家，图书策划人。《世纪华人画传丛书》的策划与发起者，曾策划编著《宋美龄画传》、《蒋介石图传》、《切·格瓦拉画传》等，另有研究《读者》杂志的专著（《解密〈读者〉》等四册），以及博物馆馆书《国人到此，低头致敬》等著作。

第一章陈家老二
1943年3月26日，陈懋平出生在重庆。此时，中国正在日本帝国主义发动的罪恶战争下受难，陈懋平就是出生在父母亲避难到重庆的时期。
陈懋平是三毛的本名。三毛的祖先来自河南，家族传说，400年前，祖先是一步步到了浙江，又乘舟到了定海，三毛的原乡是舟山市定海区小沙乡的陈家村。
三毛有位本事很大的祖父陈宗绪。三毛很崇敬这位祖父，1989年4月，三毛返回原乡，在祖父坟前，恭恭敬敬地磕了九个头，并托人重修陈氏永春堂的家谱。三毛家里有一本家谱，收在樟木箱里，三毛流浪在外国，返乡回台湾，总想翻翻这本红缎面线装的《陈氏永春堂宗谱》。
陈宗绪生有二子。长子陈汉清、次子陈嗣庆毕生都是执业律师，手足感情极好，无论是事业与家庭都在一起，很晚才分家。三毛一直称呼大伯母为“妈妈”，称自己的母亲为“姆妈”。
陈嗣庆出生在上海，于复旦大学法律系毕业后，经过相亲，结识了19岁高中毕业的缪进兰。这位女子是上过“洋学堂”的现代女性，活泼好动，是高中篮球校队的一员，打后卫。与陈嗣庆交往一年后，缪进兰放弃已考取的在上海沪江大学新闻系就读的机会，嫁做人妇。
陈嗣庆的为人谦和敦厚，他的职业是律师，书案工作时间很长，据三毛描述，她的父亲，一生最大的愿望是成为一个运动家。陈嗣庆小学六年级开始踢足球，网球打得还可以，台球第一流，乒乓球非常好，到了60多岁开始登山，70多岁仍保持展起全身运动后出门上班的习惯。

我比三毛大三岁，我在上海出生，三毛在重庆出生，姐弟中只有小弟陈杰是到台湾后才出生的。
我们全家1948年搬来台湾。三毛在小学还好，当时，学生受体罚很常见，也不敢反抗，多半就接受了，但她就是不接受。她的自尊心很强，说不愿上学就真的不去，对一切循规守律的事都觉得很累，父母最后只能接受、认同。
三毛不上学后，先和邵幼轩学画，她学画的天分非常高，随手画花、兔子都很生动。和顾福生学画后，她的人生就改变了，但如果她一直从事绘画，应该是不错的画家。
我妹妹写文章也是无意的，她以前也没想过要当作家。当然，她从小作文就很好，文字堆砌的能力当然好，更重要的是思想，她的感情流露在笔尖，从文章到家信，都相当自然不造作。
其实家人过去很少读她的书，最近我才开始全部看一遍，看了一直哭。想到她的真诚、爱心，当时家人相处的时候，大家都有类似的特质，没有什么感觉，现在看她的文章，感触却很深。
她讲过一句话我印象很深，她说：姐姐，我们要尊重钱，我们不要吝啬，但要尊重它，因为这是我们用劳力换来的，不是给我们挥霍的，每分钱都要用在值得的地方。所以，她穿着一直很简便，牛仔衣、牛仔裤、白衬衫，她总能把蓝白两个颜色穿得很美丽。她的眼力又好，总能搭配出自己的风格。刚刚从西班牙回来的时候，她一身长袍配上叮叮当当的饰品，看起来好美丽。
三毛主要的感情对象应该还是那个德国人，他非常爱她，年纪比较大，比较稳重，非常博学，很深沉，很有西洋学者的气质，后来因为心脏病去世。
