Berthold Rzany，是一位皮肤病科医师和临床流行病学家，目前就职于德国柏林一家私人医院（RZANY & HUND医院）。2002-2011年间任夏里特医学院皮肤病学与性病学科C3教授（译者注：资深博士生导师），从事皮肤病学循证医学研究。他曾在德国弗莱堡、奥地利维也纳和美国波士顿哈佛大学医学院学习医学，在德国弗莱堡大学皮肤科学习皮肤病学，曾任海德堡大学临床医学院皮肤科顾问。他对美容医学有浓厚兴趣，曾尝试在美容医学领域进行循证医学研究。他出版过数本在美容医学领域颇具影响力的出版物。他热衷教学，经常举办关于A型肉毒毒素和注射充填剂的培训课程。他也担任很多充填剂公司的咨询顾问。
