第1章绪论
工业控制网络是近年来发展形成的自动控制领域的网络技术，是计算机网络与自动控制技术结合的产物。随着自动控制、网络、微电子等技术的发展，大量智能控制芯片和智能传感器的不断涌现，网络控制系统已成为自动控制系统发展的主流方向，工业控制网络技术在自动控制领域中的作用与日俱增。
1.1 工业控制网络
1.1.1 工业控制网络的概念和特点
随着计算机网络技术的发展以及人们对自动控制水平要求的不断提高，计算机网络技术日益向自动控制领域渗透，工业控制网络应运而生。工业控制网络简称控制网络，是应用于自动控制领域的计算机网络技术。
在工业生产过程中，除了计算机及其外围设备，还存在大量检测工艺参数数值与状态的变送器和控制生产过程的控制设备。这些设备的各功能单元之间、设备与设备之间以及这些设备与计算机之间遵照通信协议，利用数据传输技术进行数据传输。
控制网络是指将具有数字通信能力的测量控制仪表作为网络节点，采用公开、规范的通信协议，把控制设备连接成可以相互沟通信息，共同完成自控任务的网络系统。
与普通的计算机网络系统相比，工业控制网络具有以下特点。
（1）具有实时性和时间确定性；
（2）信息多为短帧结构，且交换频繁；
（3）可靠性和安全性高；
（4）网络协议简单实用；
（5）网络结构具有分散性；
（6）易于实现与信息网络的集成。
目前工业控制网络技术主要包括现场总线技术和工业以太网技术。

按照IEC对现场总线（fieldbus）一词的定义，现场总线是一种应用于生产现场，在现场设备之间、现场设备与控制装置之间实行双向、串行、多节点数字通信的技术。

工业控制网络是近年来发展形成的自控领域的网络技术，是计算机技术、通信技术与自动控制技术相结合的产物。工业控制网络的出现导致了传统控制系统结构的变革，形成了网络控制系统的新型结构。这是继基地式气动仪表控制系统、电动单元组合式模拟仪表控制系统、集中式数字控制系统、集散控制系统（DCS）之后的新型控制系统。它已成为当今自控领域研究的热点，被誉为跨世纪的自控新技术。
工业控制网络技术主要包括现场总线技术和工业以太网技术。控制网络技术被广泛地应用于各个领域，许多国家都投入大量的人力和物力研究开发该项技术，出现了控制网络技术与产品百花齐放、百家争鸣的态势。作者编写本书的目的在于向读者介绍工业控制网络的基础知识，当今流行的几种控制网络的通信协议、技术规范、通信控制芯片、应用电路与应用系统的设计开发等内容。鉴于我国在控制网络方面的开发利用仍处于起始阶段，相关技术资料较少，希望本书能对我国这方面的研究开发、技术培训及技术推广应用起到积极的推动作用。
本书是编者在长期从事“工业控制网络”教学工作的基础上，结合多年来的教学经验和科研成果，并参考相关的国内外文献编写而成的。本书第1章至第3章由赵新秋、王健印共同编写，第4章至第6章由赵新秋、崔嵬共同编写，全书由哈尔滨工业大学佟为明教授主审。本书在编写过程中得到了中国电力出版社以及燕山大学电气工程学院的领导和同事们的支持，在此表示诚挚的谢意！在本书完稿之际，对书末所附参考文献的作者，在此一并表示衷心的感谢。
