Author Description

泰戈尔，印度近代著名诗人、作家、艺术家和社会活动家，头一位荣获诺贝尔文学奖的亚洲作家，世界文学史上的巨匠，被尊为“诗圣”。他的作品被人当作“精神生活的灯塔”，为印度近代文学开辟了广阔的道路；他的创作为借鉴外国的优秀文艺、开拓具有民族特色的新文艺作出了榜样。

冰心，原名谢婉莹，笔名冰心。著名诗人、作家、翻译家、儿童文学家。她的译作如纪伯伦的《先知》《沙与沫》，泰戈尔的《吉檀迦利》《园丁集》及戏剧集多种，都是公认的文学翻译精品，1995年曾因此经黎巴嫩共和国总统签署授予国家雪松勋章。她的文学影响超出国界，作品被翻译成各国文字，得到海内外读者的赞赏。
