國中開始就跟著爸爸去露營，親近大自然似乎是件從小就習以為常，且願意為之熱烈燃燒的事，學生時代進入嚕啦啦社團，沉溺在多采多姿的登山、野營、野外求生、童軍技能、團康活動裡，畢業後遠赴加拿大就學，驚豔於異國的遼闊壯麗，也看見歐美珍愛、親近大自然的普及，多年來從登山野營到四驅車隊露營、RV休閒露營，無一缺席，近四十年的露營經驗使之累積豐富的露營知識，也埋下日後經營戶外用品專賣店的契機。

2005年，與一群喜愛大自然的好友共同投入「撒野戶外用品店」的經營，其中不乏嚕啦啦社團的學弟、同儕，帶著服務與交友的性質為起開發點，極力爭取國外頂尖裝備代理，定期舉辦露營活動，帶領初學者體驗露營的樂趣，希望更多人在親近大自然的同時，找回人與人之間的真誠羈絆。
