Author Description

白耀，1956年北京医学院（今北京大学医学部）毕业，后一直在北京协和医院工作。1984年以访问学者身分赴澳大利亚进修和工作。从事内分泌学工作40余年，具有丰厚的专业基础理论知识和丰富的临床实践经验。近二十多年着重对甲状腺疾病进行系统研究，诊治了数以万计包括甲状腺功能亢进症及其他甲状腺疾病各种类型病例，积累了非常丰富的经验，总结和制定出可参照实行的临床诊治方案。享有很高的知名度。几十年，一直参与医学院校教学，培养研究生8名。参与各地举办的各种专业性学习班百余期讲学。在国内外发表医论著100余篇，主编有《甲状腺病学》，还主编及参与撰写其他大型医学参考书20余部。主持的科研课题获中国医学科学院、中国协和医科大学颁发的科学技术成果奖及国家卫生部科学技术进步奖。20多年来一直任中华医学会北京分会理事，曾为中华医学会内分泌学会常务委员、北京内分泌学会主任委员，享受国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴。
