Book Abstract

1.1 认识Access2007
Access2007是微软公司Office办公套件中的一个重要组件，它可以帮助用户避免进行复杂的编程，就能完成小型数据库管理系统的开发。
1.1.1 数据库与Access
首先了解三个基本概念，即：数据、数据库和数据库管理系统。
（1）数据是描述事物的符号记录，包括数字、文字、影音、图形等。
（2）数据库是指长期存储在计算机内、有组织的、可共享的数据集合。数据库也可以理解为数据的“仓库”。
（3）数据库管理系统是一个软件系统，它负责收集大量的数据并进行科学地组织，通过将其存储在数据库中，可以进行自动计算等高效处理。
由于计算机无法直接处理现实生活中的具体事物，它必须由人将现实中的具体事物转换成计算机可以处理的事件信息，这种转换就用到了“数据模型”，也就是说，数据模型是现实世界的模拟。
数据模型主要包括三种常用的模型，即：网络模型、层次模型和关系模型。现在，几乎所有数据库管理系统都支持关系模型，Access2007就是关系型数据库管理系统中的一种，使用关系型数据库可以如实地反映实际对象之间的关系。
在关系型数据库管理系统中，系统以各种各样二维表格的形式记录着管理信息，同一张表中记录的信息具有相同的结构特征，表中的每一行称为一条记录，每一列称为一个字段，每个记录能且仅能对应一个对象（一一对应）。
数据库的存储结构可以简单地分为：数据库文件一表一字段，如图1.1 所示。
在生活中，人们无时无刻不在与数据库打交道。例如，手机的电话簿就是一个数据库，可以对联系人的各种信息进行添加、显示、修改或删除等操作，并可以将不同的联系人分成不同的组，如亲戚组、朋友组或同事组等，如图1-2所示。
其他数据库也是这样，首先要创建一个数据库文件（存储卡），然后创建N个表（组），再在每个表中添加相应的记录（联系人），如图1.3 所示。针对每个记录，又可以添加标题、内容和图片等字段。
在数据库中，“字段”就是记录中各个内容的属性，在表1.1 中可以看到字段与记录之间的联系，记录的内容通过字段的规划，可以组织成一个让人能看懂的内容。
