Book Abstract

第1章有限元法及ANSYS概述
CAE即计算机辅助工程，指工程设计中的分析计算与仿真。CAE软件可分为专用和通用两类，前者主要是针对特定类型的工程或产品用于产品性能分析、预测和优化的软件。它以在某个领域中的应用深入而见长，如美国ETA公司的汽车专用CAE软件LS／DYNA3D及ETA／FEMB、等。通用软件可对多种类型的工程和产品的物理力学性能进行分析、模拟、预测、评价和优化，以实现产品技术创新。它以覆盖的应用范围广而著称，如ANSYS、PATRAN、NASTRAN和MARC等。
目前在工程技术领域内常用的数值模拟方法有：有限单元法（Finite Element Method，FEM）、边界元法（Boundary Element Method，BEM）和有限差分法（Finite Difference Method，FDM）等，但就其实用性和应用的广泛性而言，主要还是有限单元法。作为一种离散化的数值解法，有限单元法首先在结构分析，然后又在其他领域中得到广泛应用。

1.1发展与现状
离散化的思想可以追溯到20世纪40年代。1941年A.Hrennikoff首次提出用离散元素法求解弹性力学问题，当时仅限于用杆系结构来构造离散模型，但能很好地说明有限元的思想。如果原结构是杆系，这种方法的解是精确的，发展到现在就是大家熟知的矩阵分析法。究其实质这还不能说就是有限单元法的思想，但结合以后的有限元理论，统称为广义有限单元法。1943年R.Courant在求解扭转问题时为了表征翘曲函数而将截面分成若干三角形区域，在各三角形区域设定一个线性的翘曲函数，这实质上就是有限单元法的基本思想（对里兹法的推广），这一思想真正用于工程中是在电子计算机出现后。
20世纪50年代因航空工业的需要，美国波音公司的专家首次采用三节点三角形单元，将矩阵位移法用到平面问题上。同时，联邦德国斯图加特大学的J.H.Argyris教授发表了一组能量原理与矩阵分析的论文，为这一方法的理论基础作出了杰出贡献。1960年美国的R.W.Clough教授在一篇题为“平面应力分析的有限单元法”的论文中首先使用“有限单元法（theFinite ElementMethod）”一词，此后这一名称得到广泛承认。

本书是为土木、水利、机械等工科专业本科生、研究生和工程技术人员学习有限元法和ANSYS操作而编写的教材。编者集多年从事本科生、研究生教学与科研经验，编写时力求深入浅出，概念清晰，思路简明，系统性强。论述以ANSYS11.0软件为主，兼顾其他版本；为了能够和其他参考资料相互印证，便于ANSYs学习，书中诸多例题以操作过程为主线，有的采用公制单位，有的采用英制单位，尽管ANSYS程序中并不特别强调物理量的单位。需要特别指出的是一个分析过程内英制和公制单位不可混用！
