Content Description

《历代笔记小说大观·燕翼诒谋录：墨庄漫录》书名源自《诗经·大雅·文王有声》“诒厥孙谋，以燕翼子”二句，意为北宋前几代君主遗传给子孙的治国谋略记录。书中记述宋朝有关典章制度的创建、沿革、兴废，并论其得失，涉及选举、职官、军事、刑法、宗教、民俗诸多方面，与书名颇为相合。而其记录时限，一般（《四库全书总目提要》、《学津讨原》本张海鹏跋及近人整理本说明）以为“上起建隆，下迄嘉祐”，则与实际不符。李裕民《四库提要订误》指出“书中南宋之事仍有所载”，至确；惟以为<四库全书总目提要》因“采王栐自序之说”而误，亦属失检。

士大夫之家，不幸出妻，为之子者，非其亲生，犹可不服；苟其所亲生，而视之恝然，则非人类矣。张永德父颖，先娶马氏，生永德，为颖所出。永德知邓州，于州廨作二堂，左继母刘氏居之，右马氏居之，不敢以出母加于继母。永德事二母如一人，无间言。时大臣母妻皆得人谒，刘氏存日，马不敢同人禁中。刘氏卒，马始得人谒。太宗劳问嘉叹，封莒国太夫人。此可为人子事出母之法。仁宗景祐三年九月，集贤校理郭稹乞为嫁母服，诏两制、御史、太常寺、礼院议。诏自今并许解官申心丧。
褒前贤后
前代名贤之后累圣褒表最显著者，有四人：一日狄梁公仁杰，二日张曲江公九龄，三日段太尉秀实，四日郭汾阳王子仪。真宗景德三年正月丙戌，张公九世孙元吉诣阙，献明皇墨迹并张公写真告身，诏以为韶州文学。大中祥符四年八月丙辰，以段公孙亮为三班借职。仁宗天圣六年七月，张公九世孙锡，又以公告身并明皇批答来献，补试国子四门助教。庆历三年三月壬辰，诏以狄公孙华州明法狄国宾为本州助教。四年正月丙戌，以郭公裔孙元亨为永兴军助教。元丰五年四月，复以段公八世孙文酉为陇州助教，复其家。国家非靳一命于先贤也，谨惜名器，虽贤者犹尔，况亵用之乎！

成平、景德以后，粉饰太平.服用寝侈。不惟士大夫之家崇尚不已，市井闾里以华靡相胜，议者病之。大中祥符元年二月，诏：“金箔，金银线，贴金、销金、间金、蹙金线，装贴什器土木玩之物，并行禁断。非命妇不得以金为首饰。许人纠告，并以违制论。
