《唐宋传奇集（下）》是我们历史上传奇一体由萌生直至繁荣再尽余绪的一个完整的发展过程，在整个中国文学史上都具有重要意义。并且，传奇题材广泛，多历史、政治、官场、市井、家庭、爱情婚姻、女性等内容，体现了古人生活中的丰富色彩，是宝贵的历史人文资料。唐宋传奇丰富的想象力与“文备众体”的写作方式，既吸收了诗歌传统的诗意美，同时也对后世小说、话本的发展有很大影响。唐宋传奇本无专门的辑本流传，后经鲁迅广搜善本，多方辑录，精心点校勘异后辑得《唐宋传奇集》一书，是历来学习研究唐宋传奇的最佳文本。著名学者蔡义江，依据鲁迅的辑本，将唐宋传奇逐篇翻译为白话，并参考资料，有所补正。

Author Description

蔡义江，1934年生。著名红学家、学者、教授，国家级有突出贡献专家。浙江宁波人。1954年毕业于杭州大学（现改为浙江大学），留校任教于中文系、新闻系。1978年借调至京，筹创《红楼梦学刊》，成立中国红学会。1986年，调任民革中央常委、宣传部部长，创办团结出版社，兼任社长、总编辑，兼教予京杭高校。为六届、七届全国人大代表，八届、九届全国政协委员，全国政协教科文卫体委员会委员。现为中国红楼梦学会副会长、中国古典文学普及研究会副会长。在唐宋诗词、红学研究方面成绩卓著。出版的主要著作有：《红楼梦诗词曲赋评注》（现称《红楼梦诗词曲赋鉴赏》）、《<红楼梦>是怎样写成的》、《论红楼梦佚稿》、《红楼梦校注》、《追踪石头——蔡义江论红楼梦》、《红楼梦丛书全编》、《稼轩长短句编年》（香港上海书局）、《辛弃疾年谱》、《唐宋诗词探胜》、《清代文学概论》（日本每日交流社）、《宋词三百首详析》（台湾建宏书局）、《怀我好音-一诗词体裁与唐宋名篇鉴赏》等。

Book Abstract

炀帝回顾萧妃说：“你能拆‘朕’字吗？不会的话，要罚酒一杯。”萧妃迟疑地说：“把左边一笔移到右边去，不就是‘渊’字吗？”当时唐公李渊已是众望所归，炀帝听了很不高兴，就说：“我不知道这种事，难道就不是圣人了？”
当时，朝廷内部奸徒为害，外界盗贼滋生。值阁裴虔通、虎贲郎将司马德勤等侍卫官员导引左右屯卫将军宇文化及策划发动叛乱，便请求让官奴分成上下两班轮流值宿。炀帝准奏，即宣布诏书说：“门下众奴，寒暑交替，目的在于完成一年的收成；日月相继出没，用意在于平均人们的劳逸。所以读书人有游学和闲居的说法，农夫有休息和劳动的时节。可叹你们这些剃去头发的奴众，服役相当勤快，操劳不敢懈怠；尘土沾满手指发根，虮虱生于头盔之中。我很同情你们，让你们可随自己方便轮流休息。啊，不必劳烦东方朔之流诙谐滑稽的请求，而批准了卫士们递上来的奏文。我对侍从官员们该说是有恩的了。可以依照前面那件出去办。”后来裴虔通等人谎称草坊失火，发动叛乱，致有宫廷政变发生。
以上是《大业拾遗记》。上元县是南朝的故都，梁代建造了瓦棺寺楼阁。楼阁的南头角落有两间房子，关闭着，忘了年月。唐武宗会昌年间，诏命拆除寺塔，就打开了。从中得到一千多支荀笔，其中还藏着一套书。虽然都是随手一翻就会破碎的，但文字尚可找出头绪来，那是《隋书》的遗稿。其中有生白藤纸几幅，题作《南部烟花录》。由僧人志彻得到了它。待到焚毁佛教经卷之时，僧人们可惜经卷上的香木轴，争着拿纸尾来拆开。一看书轴，才发现上面都有鲁郡文忠颜公真卿的名字，题为手写。这部《烟花录》用的就是以前的荀笔，这不说也可以知道。志彻因此能录下前朝之事来。等到拿《隋书》来校对，发现有许多隐去真事的文字，特有与本事相符之处，而事情却很简略。莫非因为开国之初将相们争相以王道辅佐政事，颜公师古也不想存前代华靡事迹，故而已将它删削过一番了吗？如今尧舜之风气已经回来，道德的车轮正在向前。我只是可惜这文章湮没无闻，不能被文人才子当做谈论的资料，所以编写了它，题之为《大业拾遗记》。原文缺失十之七八，现在都已将它补写齐了。
