Author Description

王刚，作家，编剧。出生于新疆维吾尔自治区乌鲁木齐市，现居北京。其文学代表作有：长篇小说《福布斯咒语》（上下卷）《月亮背面》《英格力士》小说集《秋天的男人》等，小说《英格力士》，曾在2004年长篇小说年度奖活动中获得读者评选最佳及专家评选的最佳，包揽双奖，又于2006年获台湾文学最高奖项中国时报十大好书奖，成为该年度惟一获奖的大陆文学品。2008年入围茅盾文学奖。《英格力士》被世界顶级英语图书出版商企鹅出版集团重金买断，经过三年的精心筹备，企鹅于2009年3月推出英文版，意大利版、法文版、韩文版、德文版和西班牙文版。是中国作家走出去的代表人物之一。
其长篇小说《福布斯咒语》（上卷）于2009年5月出版，并成为当年最大热门小说。美国著名财经杂志《福布斯》专门派记者赴京采访并报导了这部以中国地产商富豪为主人公的作品，引起了极大的关注和争议。其编剧的代表作品有《甲方乙方》、《天下无贼》，电视剧《月亮背面》，并因编剧电影《天下无贼》获得了第42届台湾金马奖“最佳改编剧本奖”。
王刚毕业于西北大学中文系，获学士学位，后就读于北京师范大学及鲁迅文学院研究生班，获硕士学位。中国作家协会会员。

·那时，远远望去，这一对大学里的男女教师站在校园里高大的梧桐树下互相看着。你即使从他们身边走过，不会感觉到要发生大事，其实，他们两人正在共同创造着一个高潮，私密的，初春的，暖洋洋却又凄凉的，未知的，递进的，能听见树叶与风对抗声音的，透过雨点能看见阳光的高潮。
·一个声音已经在他心里嚎叫了，他想起来了在纽约大都会博物馆里看到的金斯伯格的照片，他本人似乎一点也没有要嚎叫的意思，当时就感觉中国人对于世界的理解有问题。妻子现在就住在纽约，说不定一会儿就能领着女儿去大都会博物馆。他尊敬她热爱文化的习惯，也知道自己跟妻子嚎叫是不可能的，她的声音远远比自己要高。当然，他与她无论怎么争论，都说不清楚，他与她互相说不清楚。尽管他们两个人都是特别能说、会说、敢说的人。

·在那个夏日里，他们每个星期都要见几次，隐密的欢乐与自由可以让他们充分呼吸。有时是她在等他，有时是他在等她。景山公园，天坛公园，北海公园，护城河，他们一次次地去，幸福在生长着。每次约会，他在等待时都会有些紧张，不知道是什么让内心慌乱。他与她都知道，他们是成人，他们是自由的，他们没有生活在一个恐怖时代，没有人监视他们。但是，他仍然感觉有些紧张，他知道是自己怕她离开自己。他也能感觉到妻子的目光从美国漂洋过海，此刻说不定正注视着自己。他在等待时，总是会被某种担忧困扰，直到她骑着那辆旧式的凤凰自行车出现在前方的路口时，他才会感到那是真实的，他拥有她，她是属于他的。
·全是做爱镜头，两个在现实中温文尔雅的人，竟然如此像牲畜或者野兽。他不断地点击，放大着这些科技时代的数码作品，看着照片上他与她最敏感的器官，感觉照片上这一对男女有些像是被屠宰的鸡鸭牛羊。他头脑瘫痪了，眼睛渐渐看不见了，天渐渐黑了，他没有任何感觉了。
·他又想起自己的话剧《大象》，一个孩子就那样死去了。大象死在荒野中，孩子死在校园里。也许这些孩子们身体因为年轻而没有死，他们的心灵却因为不热爱自己的专业早就已经死了。想到这儿，他又有些愧疚：这算是一种对于学生们的诅咒吗？
