村上春树（1949- ），日本小说家。京都府人。毕业于早稻田大学文学部。1979年，他的第一部小说《且听风吟》问世后，即被搬上了银幕。随后，他的优秀作品《一九七三年的弹子球》、《寻羊冒险记》、《挪威的森林》等相继发表。的创作不受传统拘束，构思新奇，行文潇洒自在，而又不流于庸俗浅薄。尤其是在刻画人的孤独无奈方面更有特色，他没有把这种情绪写成负的东西，而是通过内心的心智性操作使之升华为一种优雅的格调，一种乐在其中的境界，以此来为读者，尤其是生活在城市里的人们提供了一种生活模式或生命的体验。

《没有意义就没有摇摆》：
这张唱片成功的原因十分清楚。一是在小规模爵士俱乐部的现场录音，二是有相互知根知底的盟友克里福德·乔丹以来宾身份参加钢琴三重奏。乔丹不是具有强烈原创性的乐手，也并不具有“非他莫属”那种鲜明个性（如果蒙上眼睛猜人，答案很可能让回答者啼笑皆非），但他作为技艺扎实、品位优雅的主流乐手绝对为沃尔顿的音乐增光添彩。他的演奏同三重奏的演奏浑融一体，不时将音乐推向高潮。想必两人的音乐观——没准包括境遇——有相通之处。
当时，乔丹和沃尔顿实质上似乎有两人组成双龙乐队的意识，看情况由两人中的一人领头。节奏组则请那时附近没事干的乐手帮忙。多数情况下，比利· 希金斯打鼓，贝司由山姆·琼斯负责。毕竟成员地道，虽说未能作为常规乐队长期纵横乐坛，但沃尔顿毕竟大体在纽约这座城市构筑了属于自己的团队。
