Author Description

杨武能，1938年出生于重庆，祖籍武隆县江口镇，故号江口译翁。
1978年考入中国社会科学院研究生院，师从冯至教授研究歌德，与歌德结下不解之缘。
杨武能艰苦治学半世纪，于歌德研究、译介多有建树。其主编的河北教育出版社出版的《歌德文集》（14卷），荣获中国图书奖，是我国百年来一套真正意义上的歌德作品多卷集。国内外学术界公认杨武能为郭沫若、冯至之后一代歌德学者的杰出代表。
凭着研究、译介歌德以及德语文学的突出贡献，2000年获得德国总统授予的德国国家功勋奖章，2001年获得终身成就奖性质的洪堡学术奖金。
