Author Description

孙犁，（1913-2002）原名孙树勋，河北安平人。保定育德中学毕业。1944年赴延安，1949年以后主编《天津日报·文艺周刊》。曾任中国作家协会理事、中国作家协会天津分会副主席。
主要作品有短篇小说《荷花淀》《采蒲台》《嘱咐》、中篇小说《铁木前传》、长篇小说《风云初记》、散文集《晚华集》《秀露集》《澹定集》《尺泽集》等。有《孙犁全集》十一卷。

《有价值悦读：荷花淀》：
天晴得很好，这又是个热天，全村的男女老少，都换r新衣裳，先围到台下来，台上高挂全区人民的贺匾：“特等功臣”。
各村新农会又有各色各样的贺匾祝辞，台上台下全是红绸绿缎，金字彩花。
全区的小学生，一色的白毛巾，花衣服，腰里系着一色的绸子，手里拿着一色的花棍，脸七擦着胭脂，老师们擦着脸上的汗，来回照顾。
区长讲完了原生立功的经过，他号召全区青壮年向原生学习，踊跃参军，为人民立功。接着就是原生讲话。他说话很慢，很安静，台下的人们说：老脾气没变呀，还是这么不紧不慢的，怎么就能活捉一个旅长呀！原生说：自己立下一点功；台下就说：好家伙，活捉一个旅长他说是一点功。原生又说：这不是自己的功劳，这是全体人民的功劳；台下又说：你看人家这个说话。
区长说：老乡们，安静一点吧，回头还有自由讲话哩，现在先不要乱讲吧。人们说：这是大喜事呀，怎么能安静呢！
到了自由讲话的时候，台下妇女群里喊了一声，欢迎秀梅讲话，全场的人都嚷赞成，全场的人拿眼找她。秀梅今天穿一件短袖的红白条小褂，头上也包一块新毛巾，她正愣着眼望着台上，听得一喊，才转过脸东瞧瞧，西看看，两只大眼睛，转来转去好像不够使，脸飞红了。
她到台上讲了这段话：
“原生立了大功，这是咱们全村的光荣。原生十五岁就出马打仗，那么一个小人，背着那么一支大枪。他今年二十五岁了，打了十年仗，还要去打，打到革命胜利。
“有人觉得这仗打得没头没边，这是因为他没把这打仗看成是自家的事。人们光愿意早些胜利，问别人：什么时候打败蒋介石？这问自己就行了。我们要快就快，要慢就慢，我们坚决，我们给前方的战士助劲，胜利就来得快；我们不助劲，光叫前方的战士们自己去打，那胜利就来得慢了。这只要看我们每个人尽的力量和出的心就行了。
“战士们从村里出去，除去他的爹娘，有些人把他们忘记了，以为他们是办自己的事去了，也不管他们哪天回来。不该这样，我们要时时刻刻想念着他们，帮助他们的家，他们是为我们每个人打仗。
“有的人，说光荣不能当饭吃。不明白，要是没有光荣，谁也不要光荣，也就没有了饭吃；有的人，却把光荣看得比性命还要紧，我们这才有了饭吃。“我们求什么，就有什么。我们等着原生，原生就回来了。战
