Author Description

杨书案， 1935年生，湖南宜章县人，1956年入北京大学中文系，历史文学、儿童文学作家，中国作家协会会员。曾任武汉市文学创作所所长、武汉市作家协会副主席、湖北省作家协会副主席。1991年被评为享受国家特殊津贴专家，1993年被评为湖北省有突出贡献中青年专家。
其著作颇丰，历史人物传记文学有《孔子》《老子》《庄子》《孙子》《韩非子》《九月菊》《隋炀帝遗事》《李后主浮生记》《秦娥忆》《长安恨》《秦皇大帝》等多部，其中，《孔子》曾获武汉政府奖，并有英、法、韩文本出版，英文版《孔子》获国家对外宣传秀图书提名奖，武汉市对外宣传优秀图书一等奖；《老子》曾获湖北省第三届屈原文学奖；《庄子》曾获得台湾罗贯中历史小说首奖。儿童文学有《小马驹和小叫驴》《智慧老人与记忆口袋》《含羞草》、《少年孔子》《丁亥青春祭》《哼哈二将传奇》《伏娃奥运漫游记》《红孩儿山海伏魔记》等，在当代儿童文学领域具有一定影响力，多部作品先后获得过全国及地方的儿童文学奖。

自小那天从曹邑看牡丹回来，庄周心头就回旋着一支歌：
彼采葛兮，
一日不见，
如三月兮！
彼采萧兮，
一日不见，
如三秋兮！
彼采艾兮，
一日不见，
如三岁兮！
那天，他到曹邑，曾在曹娥家后园疏篱外改词唱过这首歌。如果那时还多少带点戏谑，现在就完全沉浸到歌词缠绵的思恋中了。
庄周隔不两天，就要渡一次蒙泽，以至监管蒙泽的监河侯也把他认熟了。
这一天，庄周赶到蒙泽边，渡船刚刚开走，离岸不过百丈。庄周一面招手，一面大声呼喊：渡船，渡船！
渡船不肯为一个乘客回头，全不搭理，继续前划。泽边再没有别的搭客小船，庄周急得搓手跌脚。像热锅上的蚂蚁。
您是庄周先生，我没有认错吧？
您是谁，怎么知道我的名字？
这些天，先生大忙，隔不两天往返一次蒙泽，我都认熟了。我寻思，这年轻人不是船工，渔夫，也不像行商，隔不两天往返一次蒙泽做什么？心生疑窦，就要打听，一打听，先生的名字就知道了。
庄周没好气，你倒管得宽！
别的事不敢多管，这河泽上的事却不敢不管，职责在身啊。
啊，您是……
我是蒙泽监河侯。
蒙泽算宋国最大的湖泽了，既有渔利，又有水患，所以，朝廷设有专职的监河侯。
庄周这才仔细打量对方，三十几岁的中年人，既有常人的随和，又有小吏的精明。
监河侯指着泽边一处林木蓊郁的屋舍，那必是我办事的廨署，也是家居。早闻先生博学多才，名播遐迩。诗云：
维桑与梓，
必恭敬止。
（《诗经·小雅·小弁》：“维桑与梓，必恭敬止。靡瞻匪父，靡依匪母。”房前屋后的桑树、梓树前人栽种，必恭必敬。谁人不尊敬父亲，谁人不依恋慈母。渐渐用“桑梓”借代家乡。）
“桑梓”学人，同居蒙邑，过去却疏于请教，今天邂逅，是个机缘，寒舍不远，请枉步稍坐也好请教。
