Author Description

顾随（1897—1960），字羡季，别号苦水，晚号陀庵。1920年毕业于北京大学，一生执教并从事于文学创作与学术研究。先后执教于山东青州中学、天津女子师范学院以及燕京、北平、中法、北京、中国、辅仁、北京师范等学校。1960年9月6日顾随卒于天津马场道河北大学住所。顾随著述颇丰，有《稼轩词说》《东坡词说》《元明残剧八种》《揣龠录》《佛典翻译文学》等多种学术著作问世，并发表学术论文数十篇。现有《顾随全集》行世。

《苏辛词说》：
稼轩居士花下与郑使君惜别醉赋。侍者飞卿奉命书莫折荼蘼，且留取、一分春色。还记得、青梅如豆，共伊同摘。少日对花浑醉梦，而今醒眼看风月。
恨牡丹、笑我倚东风，头如雪。
榆荚阵，菖蒲叶。时节换，繁华歇。算怎禁风雨，怎禁鹈鸡。老冉冉兮花共柳，是栖栖者蜂和蝶。也不因、春去有闲愁，因离别。
花下伤离，醉中得句，侍儿代书，此是何等情致。待到一口气将九十许字读罢，有多少人嫌他忒煞质直。杜少陵诗日：“黄四娘家花满蹊，千朵万朵压枝低。”杨诚斋涛却说：“霜干皴枝臂来大，只著寒花三两个。”若只许他蜀中黄四娘家千朵万朵，不许他绍兴府学门前寒花霜干得么？换头自“榆荚阵”直至“怎禁鹈鹅”，虽非金声玉振，要是斩钉截铁，一步一个脚印，正是辛老子寻常茶饭，随缘生活。及至“老冉冉兮花共柳，是栖栖者蜂和蝶”，多少人赞他前用《离骚》，后用《论语》，真乃运斤成风手段。苦水却不如是说。若谓冉冉出屈子，栖栖出圣经，所以好，试句花共柳、蜂和蝶，又有何出处？上面恁么冠冕堂皇，底_下恁么质俚草率，岂非上身纱帽圆领，脚下却著得一双草鞋？须看他“老冉冉兮花共柳”是怎的般风姿？“是柄栖者蜂和蝶”是怎的般情绪？要在者里，体会出一个韵宁来，方晓得稼轩何以不求与古人异，而自与古人不同；何以虽与古人不同，却仍然与古人神合。隔岸观火之徒动是说“如教坊雷大使之舞，虽极天下之工，要非本色”。苦水却笑他如何不说，虽非本色，要极天下之工乎？且夫所谓本色者何也？山定是青，水定是绿，天定是高，地定是卑，若是之谓本色欤？大家如此说，我不如此说，便非本色。苟非真切体会，纵如此说了，又何异瞎子所云之“诸公所笑，定然不差”？假如真切体会了，便不如此说，亦何尝不是本色？且稼轩如此写，岂非正是稼轩本色乎？若谓只是太粗生，则何不思：无性情之谓粗，没道理之谓粗，稼轩此词，至情至理，粗在甚么处？你道涂粉抹脂，便是细么？揭起那一层涂抹，十足一个黄脸婆子，面疱雀斑，青痣黑疤，累积重叠，细在甚么处？
