Book Abstract

《医心帖》：
无锡春夏之交的杨梅真是好，我吃过。酸甜肥香，你能想象出来的杨梅最好的味道都不一定及它。那次吃完，连夜带了一筐回北京给公司同事，第二天早上到公司就烂得差不多了，拣出来好的一小盘都不到，也都不是原来的味道。这个时令，超市里也有南方运来的杨梅，我从来不买，照我的经验，能保存这么多天就很可疑，哪里还敢往嘴里送。这样好吃的东西，一年去吃一回，一辈子也就能吃几十回，一笔生意丢了也就丢了，钱再多，把超市的烂杨梅全买回来又有什么用？据说太湖最好的杨梅是在苏州的西山和东山，一定要去。
我是比较贪吃的，如果经济上允许，可以为了吃一次姜禾禾，坐火车转汽车，翻山越岭，回老家两天再回来。“姜禾禾”是我们那边的土话，就是姜的嫩苗。在北方没见过这道菜。叶子细长，紫绿色，直挺挺的一束束扎着在街上卖。吃起来有姜的辣香，还有一股水腥气，有点像莼菜，把柳树皮割开，抹些汁液在手上，也能闻到类似的味道。口感是爽脆的，比竹笋还脆，一嚼簌簌落落地响。李笠翁在《闲情偶记》里说：莼菜和竹笋是植物里的尤物。姜禾禾恰好集中了这两种尤物之所长。我们那边的吃法一般是用些豆豉清炒。这与李笠翁提倡的吃法不谋而合。他说过，本身鲜美的东西是不能用太多作料去掩盖它的。豆豉老气寒酸的霉苦味，恰好能衬托姜禾禾的鲜嫩，好比《边城》里的空气：一个老船夫带着他的小孙女守在渡头上。由于豆豉的这个特点，我们炒嫩豆腐、菌菇也都放它。
一道好吃的菜就这样念念不忘，可见这个世界上让人快乐的事情还是太少，否则大家也不会动不动就说“祝你快乐”。这句话我不喜欢听，细想起来太凄惨，就像病人每天听到的都是“祝你康复”。
爱过的人会永远记得也是这个道理，因为爱的当下是快乐的，哪怕只有片刻的接触，甚至片刻都没有，只是心头一念，游丝一样的荡了荡。后面的痛苦再长，过去了也就忘了。等到老了，有那么几个片刻的快乐能记起来，笑眯眯地挂在脸上，神态才能慈祥。平常的老人，丰衣足食，子孙满堂，最多也就是一脸福相，从心里往外泛的笑意只能自己给自己。
