Author Description

刘若英，台湾演员、歌手及创作人。生于台北，高中毕业赴荚修声乐和钢琴演奏，取得古典音乐学士。加入滚石音乐，跟陈升学习流行音乐。于制作她首张个人专辑之前，先获导演张艾嘉之赏识，参加电影《少女小渔》的演出，更因此片获得1995年亚太影后。之后，她便在演艺界大放异彩，在不同地区的影展获得多次佳女主角奖项，其中包括亚太影展、东京电影节，台湾金马奖、香港电影金像奖、香港金紫荆奖、百花奖等等。音乐至今已发行了十张个人专辑、一张演唱会现场版及一张精选集。 2002年首次在台北举行个人演唱会，之后在中国大陆各地举办巡回演噍会。舞台剧方面 1998年首次演出舞台剧《花季未了》。 2000年至2005年在香港、台北、北京演出《半生缘》。文字创作已出版的有《一个人的KTV》、《单身日志演唱会记录书》、《下楼谈恋爱》、《我想跟你走》等畅销作品。

Book Abstract

我要上厕所今天不知为什么，突然想到上厕所的问题。嗯……我说的不是生理健康，也不是生活习惯，我脑中出现的是“场所”，也就是我们上厕所的地方。
我估计现在厕所并不会被列为生活中的重要场景，谁家的客厅、卧室、厨房，可能都比厕所讲究。只要功能具备，保持一定的卫生条件，我们对厕所的存在是视为理所当然的。在这里我很坚持用“厕所”这个名称，而不是洗手间、盥洗室、WC等等拐弯抹角的说法，因为大多数时候，我只需要它的基本用途。记得有个日本大文豪写过一本书，从各种角度欣赏厕所以及它在我们意识中引发的联想。这种才情和优雅我都没有，我只想大声疾呼，能好好上厕所是基本人权，大家可不可以正视演员上厕所的需求？是的，我不要求多好的盒饭，我愿意超时超班赶工，我甚至可以忍受跟我亲嘴的演员忘了嚼口香糖，但我需要好好地上个厕所！现代的演员物质条件好，名气高点的出入还能众人前呼后拥，颇有天之骄子的自我感受，但一到拍戏现场，那真是必须忍人所不能忍。
有一回在黄土高原拍戏，住的是窑洞，白天太阳晒着，窝在里头像慢火烤鸡，晚上却像冰柜，人是速冻饺子，而厕所呢？没有！请随地取材！你说是我太娇气了吗，高原上的同胞不是世世代代都这么过来了吗，怎道我就不行了。这该怎么说？我的“教养”已给了我羞耻心，羞耻心是没有回头路的，有了就拿不掉了。当众上厕所跟当众做爱都是不被允许的。夜里还好，乌漆抹黑的，想通了真是哪儿都可以。但白天大伙拍戏，那可不好办，极目望去都是平坦一片、亮晃晃一片，我到哪去照顾我的羞耻心？有一回找到一个驴厩，蹲在一头驴对面一步之遥，一边解手一边跟驴说话：“我也是不得已的，你可千万别过来……” 演员上厕所的地方千奇百怪，有一天黄昏，拍着戏，跟制片说要上厕所，制片回说：“能忍会儿吗？这里去厕所来回要半小时，光线很快就没啦，我们得抢光。”一般这种情况我习惯以大局为重，但候了半天实在忍不住，看看四周是杂草树林，环境看似便于遮掩，于是要助理帮忙看着，我往路边下坡走去，走到我看不见她的地方。看不见他人，那旁人应该也看不见我，这是常识。又因为不知名杂草在下，看似颇有敌意，我估量测试半天，只能高高半蹲才是安全距离。
就绪后，一辆公交车驶来，车上的人具高度优势，一览无遗。我一慌（又是羞耻心作祟），硬生生坐了下去……一声惨叫！接下来的几天，只能说坐也不是，站也不是。
这是没正常厕所的情况，但有时有厕所也不是好事。有～回在一风景宜人的旅游景区拍，大门边赫然是建制完整的公用厕所，门面也干净，这简直是享受。我趁着刚开工，也非游客开放时段，安安稳稳地入内，除了门稍矮，其他倒也合格。我挑了一间顺眼的，刚脱去衣物蹲下，顶上冒出一个人头，也就是说，有人从门外把头伸进我的小空间来。是偷窥狂吗？不像，那是个女的，还穿着景区服务人员的制服。她要干嘛呢？马上揭晓——她对着我头顶喊了一句：“刘若英我好喜欢你啊！” 出来我跟朋友抱怨此事，说我一冲动回了该粉丝一句粗口。他说那是这种老式隔间被误用了。他还挺怀念小时候，大伙一起上厕所，隔着若有似无的半爿门聊天，看完报纸还能递给隔壁的交换着看…… 嗯，我愿意努力怀想这种情趣，那是说，如果我不是演员的话，或者说，如果我不用担心因为上厕所耽误剧组进度的话，或者说，如果我可以像正常人那样，在需要上厕所的时候，有一个可靠安全的环境的话。说真的，如果如厕权都没有，遑论其他！

谢谢你我从来没有停止过写字，不管以何种形式。

我写日记、写信、写传真、写伊媚、写官网……一直在写。为什么呢？我从来没认真想过这个问题，但每次到了要出书，回过头去检查那些“字”，我又不得不重新问自己。为什么呢？我显然不是作家，这过往已再三声明过，不会把自己的书写习惯称为写作。我会因为感动写，会因为寂寞写，会因为谈恋爱、会因为失恋写，以及最重要的，我会因为想诚实面对自己而写。

除了演艺工作提供的特殊经验，我写的都是平凡人的事，我写家人、朋友、回忆、生活……。但有那么一段时间，我写不下去了。因为自己不美好了，觉得这个世界不美好了，实在不愿把那些消极悲观的情绪再复制出去。我既不是专业作家，也不以此为生，那写不出就不写了吧。

奇妙的是，还是有本刘若英的书要出现了。如果，你想在这本书里找到延续过去的浪漫？你会失望。如果，你想在里面一探我情感私密，你会失望。但，如果尽管如此，你还是愿意往下打开这本书，你会看见我仍在跳动的心。

我写，因为想诚实面对自己，但有时候那是多么不容易，甚至比欺骗别人都难。躲在谎言中可以是那么安逸，甚至是一种幸福。但为着那颗仍在跳动的心，我愿意再咬牙试试，再勇敢一点，再往前走一点，再诚实一点，再自由一点，再写一点。
