《浮生六记》为自传散文体小说，书中记闺房之乐，琴瑟相和、缱绻情深；记闲情雅趣，贫士心性、喜恶爱憎；记人生坎坷，困顿离合、人情世态；记各地浪游，山水名胜、奇闻趣观。作者以纯朴的文笔，记叙大半生的经历，欢愉与愁苦两相对照，真切动人。书中描述了他和妻子陈芸志趣投合，伉俪情深，愿意过一种布衣蔬食的生活，可由于贫困生活的煎熬，终至理想破灭，经历了生离死别的惨痛。

本书是一部流传极广影响极大的自传体随笔，在清代笔记体文学中占有相当重要的位置。作者以简洁生动的文笔描述了生活的方方面面，包括他的婚姻爱情生活、家庭变故、闲情逸趣、山水游记等，宇里行间流露出作者独特的人生态度、价值观念、性格气质和美学品位。

Author Description

沈复，字三白，号梅逸，长洲《现在江苏苏州》人，清代文学家。擅长诗画、散文，至今未发现有关他生平的文字记载。据其所著的《浮生六记》来看，他出身于幕僚家庭，没有参加过科举考试，曾以卖画维持生计。妻死后，他去四川充幕僚。此后情况不明。

《浮生六记》：
时当六月，内室炎蒸，幸居沧浪亭爱莲居西间壁，板桥内一轩临流，名曰“我取”，取“清斯濯缨，浊斯濯足”①意也；檐前老树一株，浓阴覆窗，人面俱绿，隔岸游人往来不绝，此吾父稼夫公垂帘宴客处也。禀命吾母，携芸消夏于此，因暑罢绣，终日伴余课书论古，品月评花而已。芸不善饮，强之可三杯，教以射覆②为令。自以为人间之乐，无过于此矣。
（注释）
①清斯濯（zhuo）缨，浊斯濯足：语出《孟子·离娄·上》：“沧浪之水清兮，可以濯我缨；沧浪之水浊兮，可以濯我足。”有委命任运，自得其乐之意。
②射覆：酒令的一种。用相连字句隐物为谜而使人猜度。

当时正值六月，室内炎热闷蒸，幸亏我们住在沧浪亭爱莲居的西屋隔壁，板桥内有一个轩室临着河流，名叫“我取轩”，取“清斯濯缨，浊斯濯足”之意，屋檐前有一株老树，浓荫复窗，绿荫把人的脸都映绿了。隔岸游人往来不绝。这是我的父亲稼夫公垂帘宴客的地方，我征得了母亲的同意，带着芸在这里消夏。芸因为天气炎热也停止了刺绣，每日陪着我温课读书，谈今论古，玩月赏花。芸不善饮酒，勉强着可以喝三杯，我教她射覆为酒令，自以为人间之乐，没有人能比得上我们的。
