Content Description

《佩文诗韵》清初编定，为当时士子科考作试帖诗必备的官方韵书，韵部即“平水韵”的106部，所用的数据是金、元以后作诗用韵的根据，至今仍为广大创作近体诗者所惯用。《词林正韵》三卷，清戈载著，根据《广韵》206部，共19个韵部。戈氏的分韵虽是归纳、审定，但其结论却多为后人所接受，奉为圭臬，成为填词者必备之韵书。《中原音韵》，宋末元初周德清所著，内容分为两部分：一是以韵书形式，把曲词里常用作韵脚的5800余字，按读音分类，编成曲韵韵谱。韵谱分为19韵，每韵又分阴平、阳平、上、去四部，而入声全部派入平、上、去三声。每一类以"每空是一音"的体例分别列出同音字组，共计1586组。第二部分为《正语作词起例》，是关于韵谱编制体例、审音原则的说明，及北曲体制、音律、语言和曲词的创作方法的论述等。

Book Abstract

杨缵有《作词五要》，第四云“要随律押韵”，如越调《水龙吟》、商调《二郎神》皆合用平、入声韵。古词俱押去声，所以转折怪异，成不祥之音，昧律者反称赏之，真可解颐而启齿也。杨缵字守斋，《苹洲渔笛谱》中所称紫霞翁者即是，诸词书引之为杨诚斋，误也。守斋洞晓音律，常与草窗论五凡工尺义理之妙，未按管色，早知其误，草窗之词皆就而订正之，玉田亦称其持律甚严，一字不苟作，观其所论可见矣。予尝即其言而推之，词之用韵，平仄两途，而有可以押平韵又可以押仄韵者，正自不少；其所谓仄，乃入声也。如：越调又有《霜天晓角》、《庆春宫》，商调又有《忆秦娥》，其余则双调之《庆佳节》，高平调之《江城子》，中吕宫之《柳梢青》，仙吕宫之《望梅花》、《声声慢》，大石调之《看花回》、《两同心》，小石调之《南歌子》。用仄韵者，皆宜人声。《满江红》有入南昌宫、有入仙吕官，入南吕宫者，即白石所改平韵之体，而要其本用人声，故可改也。外此又有用仄韵而必须入声者，则如越调之《丹凤吟》、《大酮》，越调犯正宫之《兰陵王》，商调之《凤皇阁》、《三部乐》、《霓裳中序第一》、《应天长慢》、《西湖月》、《解连环》，黄钟宫之《侍香金童》、《曲江秋》，黄钟商之《琵琶仙》，双调之《雨霖铃》，仙吕宫之《好事近》、《蕙兰芳引》、《六么令》、《暗香》、《疏影》，仙吕犯商调之《凄凉犯》，正平调近之《淡黄柳》，无射宫之《惜红衣》，正官中吕宫之《尾犯》，中吕商之《白苎》，夹钟羽之《玉京秋》，林钟商之《一寸金》，南吕商之《浪淘沙慢》，此皆宜用人声韵者，勿概之曰仄，而用上去也。其用上去之调，自是通叶，而亦稍有差别。如：黄钟商之《秋宵吟》，林钟商之《清商怨》，无射商之《鱼游春水》，宜单押上声；仙吕调之《玉楼春》，中吕调之《菊花新》，双调之《翠楼吟》，宜单押去声。复有一调中必须押上、必须押去之处，有起韵、结韵宜皆押上、宜皆押去之处，不能一一胪列。唐段安节《乐府杂录》有“五音二十八调”之图，平声羽七调，上声角七调，去声宫七调，入声商七调，上平声调为征声，以五音之征有其声无其调，故只二十八调也。所论皆填腔叶韵之法，更有“商角同用”、“宫逐羽音”之说，可与紫霞翁之言相发明。作者宜细加考严，随律押韵，更随调择韵，则无转折怪异之病矣。
