Author Description

儒勒凡尔纳，19世纪法国著名的科幻小说和冒险小说作家。他一生留给后世六十五部科幻小说，被誉为“现代科学幻想小说之父”。代表作为三部曲《格兰特船长的儿女》、《海底两万里》以及《神秘岛》。凡尔纳从小便酷爱科学，喜欢幻想，父亲是位成功的律师，为了满足父亲的愿望，凡尔纳中学毕业后开始学习法律，后在1848年来到巴黎，结识了大仲马和雨果，在他们的影响下开始了文学创作。1861年创作了第一部长篇小说，《气球上的五星期》，第二年得到出版，大获成功，同时也标志着作家开始运用一种新的小说形式，即把科学知识融入小说体裁，集幻想与事实，冒险与科技为一体的小说形式——科幻小说。
