洪远朋，江苏如皋人，1935年生。复旦大学经济学院教授，博士生导师，历任复旦大学经济系系主任，经济学院院长，经济学院学位委员会主席，现为国家社科基金学科组成员，《世界经济文汇》编委会主任、中国《资本论》研究会副会长，全国综合大学《资本论》研究会名誉会长等。1990年被评为国家级有突出贡献的中青年专家。主要研究领域；《资本论》、社会主义经济理论、经济理论比较研究，经济利益理论与实践，主要著作和教材有：《政治经济学入门》、（<资本论>难题探索）、《新编<资本论>教程）（1-4卷）、《社会主义政治经济学新论》、《价格理论的发展与社会主义价格形成》、《经济理论的轨迹》、《合作经济的理论与实践》、《经济利益理论与实践丛书》、《共享利益》等30多部，以及论文250多篇。曾多次获国家级，省部级教学和研究成果奖。

一、“工人阶级的圣经”——《资本论》的序言和跋
恩格斯在《资本论》第一卷英文版序言中说：“《资本论》在大陆上常常被称为‘工人阶级的圣经’。任何一个熟悉工人运动的人都不会否认：本书所作的结论日益成为伟大的工人阶级运动的基本原则。”（第1卷第36页）提起圣经，人们往往想起宗教。其实，并不尽然。犹太教徒有他们的圣经《旧约全书》，基督教徒有他们的圣经《新约全书》等等。工人阶级也有自己的“圣经”，这就是马克思的主要著作——《资本论》。何谓“圣经”？圣者，无所不通，或造诣极深也。《尚书·洪范》孔传日：“于事无不通谓之圣。”经者，经典也，也就是最重要的具有指导意义的著作。《资本论》之所以被称为“工人阶级的圣经”，这是因为，《资本论》是无所不通的对工人阶级来说最重要的具有指导意义的著作。《资本论》到底是一部怎样的著作？它是讲什么的？对工人阶级到底有什么意义？对于这些问题，马克思和恩格斯在他们所写的《资本论》序言和跋中都作了扼要的说明。

2008年12月中旬的一个假日，我在上海郊区休假。突然接到上海科技文献出版社编辑的电话，希望能重新出版我20多年前出版的《通俗（资本论）》。这个突然的信息，使我惊讶！更使我惊喜！
