Book Abstract

二、单个资本增大的两种形式
一般来说，资本有机构成的提高要以单个资本增大为前提。而单个资本越增大，才越有条件采用先进的生产技术和机器设备，提高劳动生产率，从而促使资本有机构成的提高。单个资本增大，则是通过资本积聚和资本集中两条途径来实现的。
资本积聚是指单个资本依靠剩余价值的资本化来增大自己的资本总额。资本积聚是伴随着资本积累而进行的并且是资本积累的直接结果，而资本积累则是资本积聚的重要条件。例如，某资本家原有资本是10万元，每年资本积累1万元，经过5年，他的资本积聚就是15万元。资本积累有两个特征：第一，在其他条件不变的情况下，社会生产资料在单个资本家手中积聚的发展，要受社会财富增加的限制。例如，某服装厂准备扩大生产规模，增加缝纫机械设备，但社会上恰逢这种设备供不应求，因此，该厂想扩大再生产的方案只能暂缓执行或放弃。第二，社会资本分散在许多单个资本家手中，而他们又作为独立，的相互竞争的商品生产者彼此对立，具体表现为许多单个资本的相互排斥。
资本集中是指把若干个规模较小的资本合并成为大资本。资本集中有两种方式：一是采取暴力方式，即大资本吞并小资本，“大鱼吃小鱼”；二是采取和平方式，即组建股份公司把许多分散的小资本集合成一个大资本，这是借助于竞争和信用两个强有力的杠杆来实现的。与资本积累不同，资本集中是现有资本的组合，它不受单个资本自身积累和积聚来增大规模的影响；而资本集中也不受社会财富绝对增长或积累的绝对界限的限制。
资本积聚和资本集中，是扩大再生产规模的既有区别又有联系的两种方式。二者的区别在于，资本积聚会增大社会资本总额；资本集中不增大社会资本总额是单个资本重新组合的结果，二者的联系在于，资本积聚越快，经济实力越强，在竞争中就越有优势，从而促进资本集中，资本集中加快，更有利于采用先进技术及装备，扩大生产规模，从而加快资本积聚。
资本积聚和资本集中使个别资本不断增大，为改进技术，提高劳动生产率创造了条件，从而使资本有机构成不断提高。资本有机构成提高的结果，必然导致相对过剩人口的产生。

本书是供高等院校、高职院校、远程教育等经济类各专业学生使用的基础课入门教材。本书的编写考虑到此特点，突出了三个方面。首先是理论体系更加完整，以往的政治经济学教材总是把资本主义部分和社会主义部分分开，似乎二者很难协调。本书不仅注重运用马克思主义经济学，分析资本主义和社会主义发展的基本经济规律，也借鉴西方经济学的分析方法，从而对现实问题的分析更加丰富和充实。其次是较为通俗易懂、清晰明了。政治经济学往往给人以呆板和深奥之感，编写时我们注重从现实出发，利用具体的事例，深入浅出地讲明政治经济学的基本原理，插入小资料和案例分析，编写形式更加活泼，使初学者更有兴趣地学习经济理论。最后就是重视教与学的结合，编写中安排了参考书目和必要的习题，以利于学生课外拓宽知识领域和把握学习的要点。
政治经济学为我们认识客观世界提供了理论和方法，也是改造客观世界和主观世界所必需的理论科学。马克思主义政治经济学揭示了资本家剥削工人的秘密，在阐述无产阶级和资产阶级对立的基础上，充分论证了资本主义制度必然为社会主义制度所取代的历史必然性。本书注重以辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义为理论基础，从生产力和生产关系、经济基础和上层建筑的对立运动中，揭示人类社会发展变化的规律，从而认清社会历史发展的必然趋势。本书比较重视分析当今资本主义的现实问题，在全球化背景下，面对资本主义社会中出现的新情况、新现象和新问题，给予马克思主义政治经济学的分析视角。
政治经济学的社会主义部分既有对经典理论的继承和分析，也有对当今中国社会主义实践的理论总结。中国社会主义建设有其历史特殊性，特别是我国在市场化、工业化和国际化的背景下，发展社会主义市场经济，必然要经历理论上的突破和创新。经典的社会主义经济理论没有为中国的改革开放和社会主义市场经济建设提供现成的理论支持，更多的是源于中国三十多年改革经验的摸索和积累。现在我们已经建立了一套较为完善的社会主义市场经济理论并在实践中验证和提升了它。
