全书共分以下五部分：
（1）农民专业合作社篇。在中国农民专业合作社法颁布已经有3年多时间了，但是，仍然还有很多农民不知道怎样去组织农民合作社，从而使得很多农产品生产条件很好的地区由于没有合作社，或者“真正的”合作社而无法做农超对接。本篇目的是让一名普通的农民读了这部分书以后，对合作社产生兴趣，并学会怎样去组织农民专业合作社。
（2）超市篇。超市虽然很接近城市居民的生活，但是对于农民和合作社领导来说了解得不多，从而，难以理解他们直接同超市做生意的意义在什么地方。超市篇主要介绍超市为什么会逐渐地取代农贸市场成为消费者主要的购买生鲜农产品的渠道，超市的业态，采购模式，超市的管理组织结构。书中还配有家乐福、沃尔玛、麦德龙、家家悦、华联和联华超市等案例，使得读者对超市有进一步了解。
（3）农超对接篇。这是《“农超对接”怎样做？》重点，分为以下部分：农超对接的基本理念、成为农超对接合作社伙伴的条件、超市审核专业合作社的步骤、农产品从采收到进超市工作、超市采购标准及农产品达标率、农产品物流需要注意的问题。
（4）发展篇。介绍“农超对接”不同的发展阶段，不同阶段有哪些特征和特点。提出随着农超对接的发展，合作社内部管理越来越重要，作为提高质量和安全性管理的手段，建立农产品可追溯体系意义很大。这部分介绍建立农产品可追溯体系的要领。为了让读者有感性认识，《“农超对接”怎样做？》还介绍了家乐福品质体系和麦德龙的农产品可追溯经验。
