Author Description

王一江，湖南省嘉禾县人，1978年考入北京大学，1982年毕业并获经济学学士，同年到中国人民银行湖南省分行工作。后重新考入北京大学，师从陈岱孙、洪君彦、厉以宁教授等，1985年获得北京大学经济学硕士学位，同年获美国哈佛大学燕京学社奖学金，以高级访问学者身份赴哈佛大学访问，次年开始攻读哈佛大学博士学位，师从2007年诺贝尔经济学奖获得者马斯金以及科尔奈、曼昆、萨默斯、帕金斯、威兹曼、柯福斯等人，1987年获哈佛大学经济学硕士，1991年获哈佛大学经济学博士学位，同年开始任教于美国明尼苏达大学卡尔森管理学院，1997年获终身教职教授。近年来，兼任中国清华大学、长江商学院、复旦大学等高等院校特聘教授、访问教授和高级研究员等职务，并任教于维也纳经济大学、华沙经济学院和香港大学等知名学府。他撰写的著作和论文在中国拥有广泛的读者。
