第一章没你不行一现场管理基础知识
二、管理是企业发展的根本
衡量一个企业管理水平的高低，关键看其机器、设备、人、资金、产品、形象、效率、工厂、流程、成本等是否存在浪费现象。浪费现象越少，就意味着其管理水平越高。而要以有限的资源创造超额的效益，优秀的现场管理必不可少。
企业的厂房、设备是可以用金钱买到的，职工是可以招聘到的，但是管理就不同了，它是无形的东西，是企业的根本，有了优质的管理方式和管理人才，企业才能蒸蒸日上。
因此，一个企业要想发展，不应抱怨技术的落后、设备不够先进或者职工不够优秀，而要探究其根本的原因——管理。
对管理者来说，技术、设备的落后可以清楚直观地分辨，但是如果管理存在了弊端，是不容易直接分辨的，而且更不容易下决心改变。因为，管理上的调整和改变会关系到企业内部的改革和创新，会牵扯到管理者和其他相关者的直接利益。
但是，管理落后的状况不改变，企业就永远不会发展和进步。因此，管理应该是企业的重中之重，企业要想出效益，就必须创新自己的内部管理政策和管理模式。

现场生产是企业一切活动的基础，生产现场管理与财务管理、技术开发、市场营销、人力资源管理等一样，是企业管理的一项重要职能。特别是随着高新技术产业的蓬勃发展，市场需求日益多样化，以往企业生产什么顾客就买什么的卖方市场早已转变为根据需要进行生产的买方市场。
