Content Description

本书以转型经济下的中国为研究背景，综合组织生态学的研究理论，挖掘“中国模式”下企业生存和成长的特殊故事，寻找中国企业生存和发展的关键影响要素以及演化的特殊路径。本书的主要内容包括：
（1）企业种群密度对企业生存的影响。改革开放以来，中国现代企业制度从无到有，企业规模和数量迅速扩张。在这样的宏观背景下，企业同时受到来自与产业的合法性与竞争性作用的冲击，这将对企业的生存造成一定的影响。结合组织生态学中的密度依赖理论，我们将对这一企业演化过程进行分析。
（2）国际化和外商种群密度对企业国际化的影响。开放式加外向型经济发展模式是中国经济发展的主要特点之一，而企业出口和吸引外资又是其中最重要的两个组成部分。这两个过程和由它们引发的企业国际化的合法性和竞争性对后期产业中企业的国际化行为产生了深远的影响。本研究将组织生态学的密度依赖理论应用至企业国际化的研究中，对企业国际化合法性和竞争性对企业演化过程的影响进行分析。
（3）产业结构对企业生存的影响。产业结构不合理、产业同构现象严重等是中国产业长期以来一直存在的问题。本研究将应用组织生态学中的资源分割理论，分析产业结构的演变对大型和小型企业产生的差异化影响作用。
（4）企业年龄对企业国际化的影响。企业一切的生存和发展行为都是企业年龄的函数，包括企业的国际化行为。针对众多研究中发现的中国企业快速国际化这一现象，我们试图分析基于企业年龄的中国企业国际化决策演化路径，以及中国背景下的特殊要素对这一“年龄依赖”过程的影响作用。

Author Description

杨嬛，上海财经大学财经研究所助理研究员，主要研究方向为区域经济学、产业经济学、组织生态学，以及基于上述理论框架的有关产业演化和组织创建、变革、死亡研究。目前的研究主要集中在国际创业方面，研究产业包括制造业和建筑业。

《中国模式下的企业生存与发展》：
有关组织变革效果的研究也是惯性依赖理论研究的焦点。Hannan和Freeman（1984）将新进入缺陷和核心能力的变革联系在一起，认为核心能力的改变是一个重新建立组织能力的过程，并且这个过程剥夺了组织前期的生存价值。Amburgey等（1993）认为，组织核心能力的改变将为组织带来新进入缺陷。即使组织希望通过变革来适应环境的变化，但是核心能力的变革也会在短期内使组织面临死亡的风险（Poole，2004）。年龄大的企业的变革绩效表现为企业将面临较大的死亡风险，但是规模大的企业可以通过其规模效应来缓冲一部分改革带来的影响，从而使其渡过危险期（Baum和Shipilov，2006）。同时，Hannan和Freeman（1984）指出，变革给组织带来的负面影响将随时间而减小。
Stoeberl等（1998）、Dobrev（1999）、Dobrev等（2001）、Kim等（2003）、Hannan等（2006）和Sorenson（2006）分别将结构惯性理论运用于红酒产业、汽车产业、报纸产业、机械制造产业、计算机产业中，分析组织变革的能力和变革的绩效，在这些产业中证明或部分证明了结构惯性的作用。
