Author Description

老卡尔·威特是德国哈勒附近一个叫做洛赫小村庄的牧师，一个上帝和凡人的信徒。1818年他根据亲子教育的成功经验，写成了一本举世闻名的教育奇书——《卡尔·威特的教育》。
小卡尔·威特1800年7月出生于哈勒洛赫小村，在父亲老卡尔的教育下，8、9岁就能自由运用德语、法语、意大利语、拉丁语、英语和希腊等6国语言，并精通化学、动物学、植物学、物理学和数学。9岁考入莱比锡大学；10岁进入哥廷根大学。12岁发表了关于螺旋线的论文，13岁出版了《三角术》一书。年仪14岁就被授予哲学博士学位。
晚年，小卡尔有感于父亲对门已的成功教育，写出《卡尔·威特的教育》续编，更翔实有力地证明了其父亲伟大的教育理念。

Book Abstract

黄金般美丽的光芒；小桥下清澈的河水是清清的，经过太阳的照射犹如翡翠一样晶莹透绿，而阴影中的水却是深绿色的，这一切真是显得神秘而变幻莫测。
有一天，儿子带着画具特意到村外的河边去画他最喜爱的那座小石桥。当儿子坐在河边的石头上专心地画画时，我在一棵大树的下面看书。
我捧着书本细细地读着，偶然望一望不远处的卡尔。也许是天气太好，也有可能是儿子也把我带人了一种宁静之中.我的心情愉快极了。
过了一段时间，儿子好像已经画完了，他拿着那幅画向我走了过来，并将画递给我看。
那幅画构思精妙，形象处理得细致入微，小桥跟河流还有旁边的村庄，更是搭配得井然有序，富有层次很有美感，画得确实很好。
我仔细看过后，发现这幅画还是有所欠缺。换做别的父母，可能会对儿子夸奖和鼓励一番，这幅画也就算完成了，可我没有这样做。我认为发现了缺点就一定要给儿子指出来。
“卡尔，你不是给我描述过你想画的那种感觉吗？可这幅画里却没有表现出来呢？”我问儿子。
“可是，我认为我已经画出来了。”儿子不服气地回答。
我说：“你曾经对我说过，河水在阳光下像翡翠那样绿，阴影中的水是深绿的.很神秘，可是我并没有看到啊。”
儿子摸了摸后脑勺。又仔细地对画面进行了一番审视，又向小桥下的阴影望去。然后对我说：“爸爸，我忘了区分水中的变化了。”
于是儿子又坐到河边去描绘。没过多久，他又将画拿了过来对我说：“爸爸，你看这回比以前好多了吧。”我看了画后，对卡尔说：“画得很不错，颜色比以前好多了。这流水的颜色已经体现出来了，不过仍然没有翡翠那种苍翠欲滴的感觉，看不到那种神秘感。”其实我心里明白，儿子画成这个样子已经很了不起了。他能准确地将阳光下的流水和阴影中的流水用不同的色调区分开来，除非专业画家，只具有一般美术基础的人是很难做到的。
我觉得这幅画已经算完成了，只是随便给卡尔提些意见，即使画中仍存在一些缺点，他可以以后慢慢地处理。
然而卡尔仍不放弃，对我说：“爸爸，我再去仔细看看。”说完，他又重新走到河边。
