Author Description

智海，1977年生于香港，自幼喜爱画画。大学主修食品及营养科学，同期受黎达达荣漫画启蒙，遂创作发表漫画及文字作品不辍，见载报章杂志，漫画亦见多部海外漫画选集。
著有漫画集the Writer and Her Story, Piece of Mind, 《默示录》,《灰掐》（鸿鸿合著）,《大骑劫--漫画香港文学》（江康泉合著）等，另编著《路漫漫--香港独立漫画25年》（欧阳应霁合编）。《灰掐》已被译成意大利文版，另有法文版短篇漫画选A l'horizon。

自序花的寄托

儿时家贫，没多买课外书，除了隔周四在屋屯停泊的公共流动图书车借书以外，便只有待过时过节拜访祖父母家，看《牛仔》漫画。这部漫画除标题有字外，纯以图画表达。虽然看得似懂非懂，但对上学识字为人生要务的小学生来说，实在看得痛快，管它作者是谁，王司马？司马迁？小时我都分不清。

后来重温慢慢搜集得来但不齐全的旧版《牛仔》，惊讶王司马纯以图画说故事的过人本领，像个不用言语说话的人，用神情、动作、手势和停顿来表达，感情非常丰富，手法内敛，却又准确。长大了再读，自有另一番味道，从前看不懂的，如今领略更多。《牛仔》可称隽永，在于读者能够细味。

从前不喜欢小孩，嫌烦。我不大清楚为何把这样的题材接下来，只直觉周遭空气混浊，未能单纯地深呼吸，想是出于《牛仔》漫画里的旧时代与当下对比而产生的落差。但《牛仔》亦给我很多启迪和动力，令我想要画出个未来，适逢杨学德引荐，始在《太阳报》专栏展开《花花世界》系列。

创作乃无中生有，把未见的心象化成可见的；现实中没有一件事物非由人的想像和思考产生，美意生善，歪念生恶，花花世界无非内心世界。笔下的爸爸和花花，多凭观察、回忆和想像写就，我虽未为人父，但实实在在做过小孩。《花花世界》可说是我和从前的我的交流，也更是我对未来的我的寄托。我怎不爱惜从前的我？我怎不爱惜未来的孩子？专栏一路画来，我渐渐变得很喜欢小孩子。

所谓寄托，不过简单如一朵花。为了有花，得有种花的环境：青空净水肥田，本是天赐不收分钱，现在竟变奢侈，人多谈金谈忧，却少谈生。花花像你像我，天生敏于昼夜四时、花香鸟语，因她知道，一朵花就是一个美丽的世界，而人脱离了自然，便无从浪漫。
