实验中也可选用大小合适的烧杯代替水浴锅。小试管中的溶液最好在微沸水浴中加热。因直接加热易将少量的溶液溅出，同时小试管也易破裂。在蒸发皿中蒸发、浓缩时，也可以在水浴中进行，这样比较安全。②沙浴和油浴当被加热物质要求受热均匀，而温度又需要高于100℃时，可用沙浴或油浴。沙浴是将细沙均匀地铺在一只铁盘内，被加热的器皿放在沙上，底部插入沙中，用煤气灯加热铁盘。用油代替水浴中的水即是油浴。常用的油有甘油（甘油浴用于150 0（：以下的加热）、液体石蜡（液体石蜡浴用于200℃以下的加热）等。使用油浴要小心，防止着火。当油的冒烟情况严重时，应立即停止加热。油浴中应悬挂温度计，以便随时调节灯焰控制温度。2.6.3 冷却方法 ①流水冷却需冷却到室温的溶液，可用此法（也可在室温中自然冷却）。将需冷却的物品直接用流动的自来水冷却。②冰水冷却将需冷却的物品直接放在冰水中。③冰盐浴冷却冰盐浴由容器和冷却剂（冰盐或水盐混合物）组成，可冷至0℃（273K）以下。所能达到的温度由冰盐的比例和盐的品种决定（具体可查相关手册），干冰和有机溶剂混合时，其温度更低。为了保持冰盐浴的效率，要选择绝热较好的容器，如杜瓦瓶等。2.7 固、液分离及沉淀的洗涤常用的分离方法有三种：倾析法、过滤法和离心分离法三种。
