Book Abstract

评价弓丝性质的指标主要指机械性能和生物性能。机械性能是对弓丝力学作用的反映，包括弓丝的截面及尺寸、弓丝的弹性模量、形状记忆合金的相变温度、弓丝的热处理、摩擦力等等。生物性能主要指弓丝在腐蚀过程中离子的释放对生物体的影响。
1.弓丝的截面和尺寸
正畸弓丝根据截面可以分为圆丝和方丝，正畸圆丝由带型材料拉伸制成，方丝是在圆丝的基础上再经过滚压制成，所以在方丝的截面上会有一定程度的弧度，不同的弓丝、不同厂家产品的弧度不一样。这个弧度在临床应用转矩力时会有一定的影响。
弓丝的尺寸对圆丝而言是指截面的最大径，对方丝而言是指截面的长和宽，一般用英制单位表示。笔者曾对不同进口及国产弓丝的尺寸精度进行测量，结果是令人满意的。对同一种品牌弓丝来说，尺寸越大的弓丝在相同形变下可以产生更大的矫治力，但在不同品牌弓丝之间这个原则不一定适用，尤其是镍钛丝，有的品牌大尺寸的弓丝产生的矫治力反而比其他品牌小尺寸弓丝还要小，这个在选择镍钛丝时要有所考虑。对于方丝而言，在产生转矩力时，我们需要考虑其截面的大小，因此需要注意0.017英寸×0.022英寸与0.017英寸×0.025英寸的方丝之间的区别。
2.弹性模量及工作范围弹性模量是指在无限受压的情况下，应力与相应应变之间的比值，确切地说，它反映物体在受力方向上的力学性质，是反映对弹性形变的抵抗能力的物理量。对它的测量方法很多，研究弓丝多采用悬臂粱试验（cantilver美国国家标准局及美国牙科协会标准ANSI／ADA第32号），记录弓丝从受力到屈服点之前的应力应变。屈服点指弓丝产生最小永久形变时的弯曲度，这个指标也相当于牵张试验中的屈服点，其相应的力值称为屈服力。悬臂梁试验是有一定斜率的直线，经典图例中横坐标是加载力值，纵坐标为弓丝形变。临床更关心的是在达到最大屈服点之前的情况，这一段的弹性性能是产生矫治力的来源。3.弓丝的热处理弓丝热处理是一种退火的过程，其目的是消除残余应力，增加强度，稳定尺寸。由于弓丝的拉伸加工，正畸弓丝具有典型的锻造微结构，原材料的等轴晶体结构经过机械加工后不复存在。在光镜或电镜下，可以看到煅造后晶体在平行于拉伸方向上紧密排列。这种结构是正畸临床产生合适矫治力及维持力学性质的基础。合理的弓丝热处理不会破坏这种晶体结构。但如果将不锈钢丝加热到700℃以上，弓丝会由于晶格重组而失去这种煅造微结构，迅速变软。临床中，应当使用电阻式的点焊机来进行有控制的热处理。不锈钢丝、钴铬镍合金丝及部分的镍钛丝都可以进行热处理。
