陈彤云，女，1921年出生于北京中医世家，主任医师，擅长治疗湿疹，皮肤痤疮，扁平疣、黄褐斑，神经性皮炎等皮科杂病。现任中国中医药学会顾问，中国中医药学会外科委员会副主任委员，《中医杂志》杂志编委，《北京中医》杂志副主编。
其出生于北京中医世家，其父陈树人为擅长治疗温病的名医，公公哈锐川、丈夫哈玉民是名满京城的中医外科大家。新中国成立后不久，陈彤云开始执业行医，1966年后至北京中医医院从事中医皮外科临床工作至今。2003年，陈彤云被国家中药管理局确定为全国500名名老中医之一。在半个多世纪的悬壶生涯中，陈彤云积累了丰富的经验，逐步形成了以治疗损容性皮肤病为主的临床特色，尤其擅长治疗痤疮、黄褐斑、酒渣鼻、颜面激素依赖性皮炎、扁平疣、脂溢性皮炎、斑秃、神经性皮炎、带状疱疹及其后遗神经痛等皮肤病。对治疗颜面损容性皮肤病更有独特的疗效，还改进了古代治疗痤疮的名方枇杷清肺饮，取得了理想效果。一、医论医话
1.强调中医的整体观和辨证论治陈老临床中特别重视人与自然、气候、环境、四时的协调统一关系，重视皮肤与脏腑、经络、气血的内在联系。认为皮肤病不仅仅是皮毛之疾，它是脏腑、气血的生理、病理在皮肤上的反应，即“有诸内必形诸外”，“没有内患不得外乱”。按照《内经》：“怒伤肝”、“喜伤心”、“思伤脾”、“忧伤肺”、“恐伤肾”的理论，情绪过激变化，会引起脏腑、气血、经络生理功能的失调。就皮肤疾患而言，银屑病、神经性皮炎、瘙痒病、黄褐斑、痤疮、带状疱疹等许多严重影响皮肤美容的疾病都与情志的异常有关。
如其在治疗痤疮时，虽将痤疮分为八型即肺经风热证、肺经血热证、脾虚湿蕴证、胃肠湿热证、肝郁气滞证、冲任不调证、痰湿蕴阻证、血瘀痰结证，但临证时常因人、因时而灵活用药，不拘泥于一方一证，按个体症状表现及四诊资料综合分析后处方用药。
