Book Abstract

医学是在人类生存和发展过程与危害健康的各种因素斗争中形成和发展起来的。随着科学技术的发展和社会进展，医学的内涵日渐丰富，已从治疗疾病发展为预防疾病、促进健康、延年益寿。现代医学主要是由基础医学( basic medicine)、临床医学(clinical medicine)和预防医学(preventive medicine)三个一级学科组成的，每个一级学科又由多个二级学科组成，各学科之间相互联系、相互渗透，其共同的目标是促进健康。一、预防医学的概念、研究对象、任务及研究方法（一）概念防医学是以环境-人群-健康为模式，以人群为主要研究对象，在预防为主的卫生工作方针指导下，针对人群中疾病的发生发展规律，运用基础医学、临床医学和环境卫生科学的理论和方法，来探索自然环境及社会环境因素对人群和疾病作用的规律，应用流行病学和卫生统计学等原理和方法，分析环境中主要致病因素对人群的影响，以制定防制对策，并通过公共卫生措施达到促进健康和预防疾病、防治伤残和夭折、提高生命质量为目的的一门学科。

《预防医学》是全国医学成人教育协作组、中国协和医科大学出版社组织编写的全国高等医学教育专科起点本科教材《预防医学》第一版，供“专升本”医学教育使用。此教材编写的指导思想是依据“专升本”医学教育这一特殊层次学生的培养目标和要求，加强整体质量观念，密切联系我国预防医学发展的实践，按《医学教育课程基本要求（专升本）》的要求删繁就简，精选教材内容。全书包括绪论、七章内容及八个附录。绪论主要介绍预防医学的概念、研究对象、研究方法和任务、发展简史及其在医学中的地位和成就，三级预防和卫生保健策略，以及医学生学习预防医学的目的等。第一章重点介绍人类环境、空气、水与健康的关系。第二章阐述饮食与健康的关系，包括合理营养的基本要求、人群营养状况评价及食品污染对健康的影响等。第三章主要阐述职业有害因素及职业病的健康监护，即生产环境与健康的关系。第四章主要介绍社会心理因素与健康的关系。第五章分别阐述了传染病、地方病、营养相关疾病、食物中毒、职业病、医源性疾病的概念及防制措施。第六章介绍人群健康研究统计学方法，包括医学统计学的基本概念和步骤，医学资料的统计描述与统计推断，直线相关与回归，统计表与统计图等。第七章介绍人群健康研究的流行病学方法，包括病例对照研究、队列研究、实验研究、偏倚控制及病因推导等。附录主要包括预防医学领域经常使用的卫生标准、指导性文件、相关的法规及条例等。本教材编写过程中，始终得到哈尔滨医科大学、吉林大学、中国医科大学、郑州大学、内蒙古科技大学、天津医学高等专科学校、广西医科大学等院校领导的大力支持和帮助，在此表示衷心感谢，并向所有支持、帮助本教材编写和出版工作的领导、专业同行、编者致谢。希望广大使用本书的同行、同学及朋友们将使用过程中的意见、建议反馈给我们，以不断改进。
