全书约30万字，近200幅影像学资料及线条图，是一本富有临床经验的学术专著，可供研究腰腿痛及从事骨伤科和外科工作的临床医生参考。
Author Description

蒋位庄，1934年5月出生于浙江省嵊州市谷来镇。1959年毕业于哈尔滨医科大学医疗系，1962年于北京各水潭医院创伤骨科进修班结业。从事骨伤科专业40余年，1977年与尚天裕等骨科专家受卫生部委托创建中国中医研究院骨伤科研究所，1985-1991年任该所所长，并组建腰腿痛研究室及脊柱病病房，兼任研究室主任及病房主任至今。20多年来培养硕士、博士生10余名，是《中国骨伤杂志》创始人之一，曾任该杂志常务副主编，1989-2001年任中华医学会疼痛学会副主任委员、常委、兼腰背痛学组组长。长期从事中西医结合临床和研究工作，在腰痛疾病的研究方面成绩卓著，获创新性科研成果多项（其中三项获部局级科研进步奖）。于1992年获国务院特殊津贴。
