[主要临床表现]
1.眼球外异物
1）眼睑异物：多见于爆炸伤，局部症状：如爆炸产生大量碎片，同时产生高热、冲击波则患者出现特殊面容：面部浅表烧伤、水肿、大量异物嵌入皮肤及眼球表面，个别异物还可进入眼内。颜面较污秽且异物混杂。
2）结膜异物：常有灰尘、煤屑、炸药末、虫毛等，可以单个，也可多个。多隐藏在睑板下沟、结膜下、穹隆部及半月皱襞，异物摩擦角膜可引起刺激症状或仅有眼内异物感。裂隙灯检查可发现结膜异物。
3）角膜异物：以铁屑、煤屑、动植物细刺较多见，它们滞留于角膜表面或穿人角膜内。患者常突感眼部刺激症状，如异物感、畏光、流泪、眼睑痉挛等。有的肉眼可见，细小的异物需通过裂隙灯、显微镜仔细检查。铁质异物可形成锈斑，植物性异物容易引起感染。
4）眶内异物：可表现局部肿胀，疼痛。合并化脓性感染，可引起眶蜂窝织炎或瘘管。
2.眼球内异物具有眼球穿通伤的症状和体征。伤眼疼痛、眼部刺激症状、视力障碍、角巩膜穿通伤口，可有房水外溢，前房变浅，眼内容脱出，眼压降低等。球内异物常引起严重的并发症：如眼铁质沉着症、铜质沉着症、虹膜睫状体炎、白内障、继发性青光眼、增殖性玻璃体视网膜病变、视网膜脱离等。
