2，材质在影视动画中的作用
材质会给画面中的场景、角色带来某种“气质”。比如一个女孩穿一件红毛衣，我们可能觉得这个女孩热情有亲和力，但是如果这个女孩换了一身红皮衣。那我们可能会觉得她前卫有个性却少了几分亲和力。不同材质的视觉效果加上人们平时对此材质的认识会带给人们完全不同的心理感受。很多恐怖片中经常在杀人场景的工具的材质上做文章以达到刺激视听心理的作用，影片《死神来了》中的那些惨死的人们经常不是被普通的刀子等我们熟悉的材质致死的，而是会被很刻意安排的玻璃、铁丝、钉子、冰等不经常和死联系在一起的材质致死。这是一种很刻意地运用材质来刺激心理的手法。
有个老片子叫《双旗镇刀客》（此片被誉为“中国最早的西部片”），影片对场景材质的选择很极致，满眼的黄土和黄沙，人物穿的是粗糙的毛皮质衣服。这些材质赋予了此片那种很辽阔、荒蛮、野性的西部片气质。试想如果把片中的房子都换成木质的，人物不穿皮制衣服而换成铁甲或是丝绸，整个影片的视觉风格就都会改变。（图3—53～图3—55）
材质对于视觉效果、心理情绪、对于整部片子的视觉风格都有着自己独特的作用。材质会在无形中赋予画面乃至整部片子以独特的“气质”。

Introduction

动画是一门集艺术与技术于一体的学科。动画是当代文化的集合点——它包括了文学、电影、美术、音乐、传播等多个学科门类的内容。动画是当代文化一种特殊而典型的语言形式——我们生活中的大部分时尚形式似乎都与动画相关。动画又是一个产业——已成为世界创意产业中非常重要的组成部分。总之，动画不仅仅是一种艺术形式，更是一个庞大而复杂的系统性学科。所以，动画教育和人才培养是一个极具难度的课题。它不仅包含了庞杂的学-术内容，又是一个复杂的系统工程，其中包含了复杂的工作流程，使教师在讲学过程中，既要面对美术方面的问题，又要面对影视的问题，还要面对软件使用等技术问题……从另一方面看，学生的作业练习也很难实施，动画作业不像广告、油画，可以由一个人在一两天或一周内做一方案。一个创作性动画作业可能会历时一个月甚至更长时间，因为它复杂的制作程序必须花很多时间去完成其每一个步骤，然后我们的课时又是有限的。此外，动画创作还涉及到团队合作，从编剧到动画，到技术制作，可能跨越几个专业或几个部门，没有团队的协作很难完成一部动画片。所以还涉及到团队合作精神和工程规划设计流程管理等。怎么去实施这些内容的教学呢？这是个难题，是一个许多人正在努力研究的问题，要想编撰一套完整的、完美的，甚至真正对当今动画事业发展和动画教育有贡献价值的教材，实在是一件不容易的事情。但不论怎样，这个责任是每一个业内人士和相关高校的教师责无旁贷的。我们是有必要，也必须不懈努力地去完成它。
四川美术学院于1996年创建了动画专业，历时十余年，也经历不少曲折，如何培养出具-有实作能力，能够服务于产业的人才，如何通过高校实力和科研人才推动我国动画产业的发展，一直是我们不断探究的问题。但动画学科和产业在中国都是刚刚起步，现成的试验平台和相关经验也很少，使我们面临的难度也比许多学科大得多。
动画教育应有什么样的模式和学科建设方式呢7我们在重庆广电集团的支持下启动了产、学、研相结合的教学模式，组建了视美动画教学实作基地，以课目项目化的方式实施教学改革，使同学能够在具体的电视动画的制作过程中去学习，我们每年可以生产三千七百多分钟的电视动画片，也使学生的作品能每天在电视台播出，通过收视率评价引入了社会评估，使教学对接行业标准，适应社会需求，一方面通过引入的项目和实战平台促进教学，另一方面以高校的学科、人才资源支持产业发展。
