Book Abstract

数据通信中产生的错误大致可分为两类：一类是随机性错误，表现为在数据信息序列中，前后的出错位之间没有关系，是由正态分布的白噪声引起的；另一类是突发性错误，这种错误反映了前后出错位之间的相关性。由于实际信道是复杂的，因此这两种错误总是并存的。在数据通信系统中，不同信道的误码率是不同的，不同的数据通信业务对误码率的要求也不尽相同，通常要求误码率小于10-7，有的业务要求高达10-10～10-9。误码率是指在一定的时间内传输二进制数据位时出错的概率，是衡量系统可靠性的一项指标，以接收信息中错误比特数占总比特数的比例来衡量。设传输的二进制数据的总数为Ⅳ位，其中出错的位数为N0，则误码率表示为：
此外，还可以通过误组率来衡量系统的可靠性。误组率PB是指在传输的码组总数中发生差错的码组所占的比例，即码组错误的概率。在数据传输过程中往往存在着随机性与突发性的干扰，从而造成传输错误，但是在一块或一帧中的1比特差错和几比特差错都会导致数据块（或帧）出错，所以使用误码率还不能确切地反映其差错所造成的影响。因此，采用误组率P。来衡量差错对通信造成的影响。
误组翠在一些采用块或帧检验以及重发纠错的应用中能够反映重发的概翠，从而也就能反映出该数据链路的传输效率。在某些数据通信系统中，以码组为信息单元进行传输，此时使用误组率更为直观。
当实际信道的误码率不能满足用户的要求时，可采用多种措施来提高数据传输质量，如选择适当的数据传输信道，改进数据通信线路的传输特性，提高发送信号的功率，并且采用纠错码等差错控制技术。差错控制技术是指发送端根据协议，利用信道编码器在数字信息中增加监督信息，用这些附加的信息来检测传输过程中可能发生的错误，或纠正这些错误。
2.差错控制的方式
差错控制的方式基本上有两类：一类是接收端在检测到接收数据有误后，自动纠正错误；另一类是接收端检测出错误后不是自动纠错，而是通过反馈信道发送一个表示错误的应答信号，要求发送端重发，直到正确接收为止。在目前的数据通信系统中，有以下几种常用的差错控制方式：反馈纠错、前向纠错、混合纠错。
