6.标尺和辅助线
标尺和辅助线用于辅助绘制图形。标尺包括水平标尺和垂直标尺，用于测量对象的尺寸与位置。通过在标尺上按下鼠标左键并拖动到工作区中即可创建辅助线，辅助线用于协助调整对象位置。
7.绘图页面
绘图页面反映了当前页面的大小和方向，默认情况下，它是工作区域中可打印的区域。
8.页面控制栏页面控制栏用于在多页文档中添加或切换页面。
9.泊坞窗泊坞窗是包含与特定工具或任务相关的可用命令与设置的窗口，如符号、对象管理器、视图管理器、物体变换等。用户可以同时打开多个泊坞窗，与其他大多数对话框不同，在操作文档时泊坞窗可以一直打开，通过泊坞窗右侧的功能标签可以方便地切换泊坞窗中的内容。

调色板用于对象颜色的选取，其打开方法是单击“窗口！调色板”，再选取“默认CMYK调色板”或“默认RGB调色板”。
在调色板的上下两端各有一个小三角形按钮，可以通过单击该按钮来选取更多的颜色。使用调色板时，在选取对象的前提下使用鼠标左键单击调色板上的颜色可以为对象添加填充色；使用鼠标右键单击调色板上的颜色可以为对象添加轮廓线颜色。

“数字图形创意设计”是数字媒体设计与制作专业的一门选修课，也是其他艺术类、传播类专业的一门重要的专业设计课程。它主要让学生学习数字图形的基本原理和学会使用计算机进行图形设计。课程的主要任务包括：介绍数字图形基础知识，学习并掌握CorelDRAW软件的技法，包括CorelDRAW快速入门、CorelDRAW菜单命令和C0relDRAW工具箱的使用；讲述数字图形的基础造型、数字图形的造型手段、图形的创意法则与表现；教会学生使用CorelDRAW图形设计工具进行数字图形绘制功能练习、数字图形质感练习、数字图形创意设计。
为了配合数字化时代的设计专业教学，我们撰写了这本《数字图形创意设计》教材，也希望对开办艺术类、传播类专业的学校和需要讲授图形设计课程的教师有所帮助。“数字图形创意设计”的课程內容设计基于一个基本的现实：就是设计行业在21世纪趋向明显的数字化，由物理的设计向虚拟的设计、由物质的设计向“非物质”设计的发展和延伸，传统固有的图形理论已经不能满足社会发展的要求。
这本教材参照了田少煦教授主持的广东省高教厅人文社科研究项目“数字化图形与视觉传播”的基本理论。它把图形艺术的原理融合在数字化设计之中，显示出较强的包容性。
在本书的编写中，我们引用了一些著作中的图片和实例，在“参考文献”中已经标出，并在此表示感谢。我们还引用了一些网上广泛传播的优秀图形作品，由于转载的次数太多，无法准确获知作者的姓名、作品名和出处，在此向作者表示衷心感谢并致以歉意。
由于这是一门较新的课程，在编写的过程中难免有不妥或错误之处，恳请读者批评指正。
