一、概述
拔罐疗法是在民间家庭中广为流传、简便实用、疗效显著的一种外治疗法。拔罐疗法又称为“角法”或“火罐”、“吸筒法”、“拔筒法”，是以罐为工具，利用燃烧、蒸气、抽气等将罐中的空气排空，罐内形成负压状态，使罐吸附于所需要治疗的部位（穴位），产生温热刺激，使吸拔局部出现充血或瘀血现象，从而达到治疗全身疾病和局部疾病目的的一种常用外治法。
（一）拔罐疗法的起源与发展
拔罐疗法是中医学的一个组成部分，有着悠久的历史，并在我国民间广为流传，可治疗多种疾病而深受广大患者的欢迎。拔罐疗法古称“角法”，是因为古人以兽角做罐治病，故而得名。有关角法最早的文字记载见于我国现存最古的医方书《五十二病方》中。书中在治疗痔疾里便有“……以小角角之，如熟二斗米顷而张角，系以小绳，剖以刀……”的记载。这说明当时的角法是治疗痔疾的综合性措施之一，尽管文中对角法本身没有作详细的记载，但从“角之”与“张角”等字义分析，不难知道，早在先秦时期便已有应用负压原理的角法治疗疾病了。
