1.何谓青春痘？
青春痘在医学上称为“痤疮”。因其主要发生于青春期男女的面部，故俗称为青春痘，还有粉刺、酒刺、壮疙瘩、暗疮等别称。它是一种常见的发生于毛囊皮脂腺的慢性炎症性皮肤疾患。其主要表现是在颜面、胸背等处出现大小不等的突起物，包括粉刺、丘疹、脓疱、结节等，愈后还可留下色素沉着及瘢痕等后遗症。
青春痘是一种常见病，估计约有70％的青少年在某一时期都患过不同程度的青春痘。本病最常见于17～18岁的青年，男略多于女。一些调查研究表明，在青春发育期，女孩的青春痘发生率可高达90.6％，男孩可达l00％。亦有早至十一二岁，迟到青春期以后或成人发病者，近年来中年妇女的发病率也在迅速上升。在美国，1990年约有450万人因青春痘或与青春痘直接相关的原因而就诊，其中85％为l2～24岁的青少年，8％为25～34岁的成年人，3％为35～44岁的中年人，4％为其他年龄的患者。
