Author Description

陈兵，1945年生，四川大学宗教研究所博士生导师，长于宋元明清道教史、道教炼养学、佛教思想、佛教心理学、佛教禅定学、佛教与现代社会等方面的研究。陈兵教授早年在中国社科院世界宗教所道教研究室专门研究道教，精于道家内丹修炼与养生理论，本书即是他这方面著述的汇集。主要著作：《佛陀的智慧》《佛教心理学》《佛教禅学与东方文明》《佛法在世间》《自在之行——佛法正道论》《佛法真实论》《生与死——佛教轮回说》《新编佛教辞典》《20世纪中国佛教》《佛教气功百问》《问道》（原《道教气功百问》）

Book Abstract

《道教修炼养生学》：

服六气法：六气，指黑、白、苍三色的六口气，《上清三真旨要玉诀》等述其服法为，于凌晨丑寅之时（一点至五点），仰卧，存想太阳如鸡蛋大，在自己泥丸中，良久，吐出一口气，想其气黑色，名“死气”；次吐二气，想其气白色，名“故气”；次吐三气，想其气苍（蔚蓝）色，名“尸气”。吐气时务须徐缓，同时存想气的颜色。吐黑、白、苍三色凡六口气毕，从鼻中徐徐纳气，服咽四口，想其气为黄色，服毕，咽津三口。然后存想泥丸中太阳从两眼出，停于面前九寸远处，意想取其赤气，服咽七次，咽津三口。起坐，动摇四肢，俯仰屈伸，略做导引，做毕，咽津，同时存想津液为青色。若夜晚服气，应存想月亮在泥丸中，如存日法。存服月气，以从阴历初一至十五日夜为宜。
服三气法：于日初升时，面向日，存想日下有青、白、赤三色气，直下人我口中，服咽其气九十度。此见《真诰》卷十三等。
服紫气法：清晨，入室面南而坐，暝目存想自己泥丸宫中有紫色气，出于头顶上，勃勃冲天，气冠己身，内外郁冥，存想分明，仰吸紫气，吞咽三十九次，吞咽时意想紫气下入胃，送至脐下丹田中。服毕，叩齿三通。见《太清玉霞紫映观上法》等。
服雾气法：凌晨，坐卧任意，闭目内视五脏，口呼出二十四口气，存想有五色气相缠绕，在脸上郁郁然，口纳此气，服咽五十次，咽津六十口，服毕，祝咒，叩齿七通，咽津七次，开目收功。此见《真诰》卷十三等。
存服外气，有以外补内的作用，对脏腑虚弱者尤有补益之效，若按中医理论，对症练功，运用得当，不无治病健身之效。这种方法也为现代多家气功所采用。
