每次在同学聚会中遇到以前的老同学，他们常感到惊讶，尽管我已是三个小孩的父亲了，但外表看起来依然十分年轻有活力。当许多同年龄的朋友纷纷进入了“ 三高”危险群的行列，我仍维持良好的体态，就连体脂肪及身体各项健康指标也一直保持在标准范围内。因此，常有人会问我保持身材的诀窍是什么，我告诉他们：首先，就是“ 吃”，要吃才会瘦。我很重视“ 吃” 这件事情，食物能带给我们身心所需的能量，这也是决定胖瘦的关键。曾经有位女明星说，她二十年来一直维持着苗条的身材，是因为从来没有吃饱过。许多爱美的年轻女性也说，为了维持好身材，她们宁愿少吃。尽管这些女孩们的外表甜美、身材曼妙，但是仔细一看，会发现她们的皮肤干燥、气色惨白，甚至内分泌都不正常；最重要的是，她们的身体机能正处于不平衡的状态。
