图形符号一般绘制有引线，在不改变其符号含义的前提下，引线可取不同的方向。
但当引线取向改变时，符号含义就可能会改变，因此必须按规定方向绘制。如电阻器的引线方向变化后，则表示继电器线圈。2.电气原理图电气原理图是表达电路工作的图纸，所以应该按照国家标准f简称国标）进行绘制。图纸的尺寸必须符合标准。图中需要用图形符号和文字符号绘制出全系统所有的电器元件，而不必绘制元件的外形和结构；同时，也不考虑电器元件的实际位置，而是依据电气绘图标准，依照展开图画法表示元器件之间的连接关系。
在电气原理图中，一般将电路分成主电路和辅助电路两部分。主电路是控制电路中的强电流通过的部分，由电机等负载和其相连的电器元件（如刀开关、熔断器、热继电器的热元件和接触器的主触点等）组成。辅助电路中流过的电流较小，一般包括控制电路、信号电路、照明电路和保护电路等，一般由控制按钮、接触器和继电器的线圈及辅助触点等电器元件组成。
