韩鹏，1982年3月出生于山东淄博，2005年7月毕业于中国传媒大学（原北京广播学院）戏剧影视美术设计专业，现执教于四川美术学院影视动画学院。

第一章电脑绘图概述：
第一节电脑绘图的历史：
世界上第一台电脑诞生于1946年，它的创造者们设计它的目的，是用来代替繁重的科学计算。当时他们怎么也不会预料到电脑的发展与普及是如此迅速，以至于在半个世纪后的今天，电脑已经成为我们这个社会各行各业必不可少的利器，甚至对电脑的掌握程度在很多领域已成为划分新文盲的标准。
用电脑作为绘图工具，早在六七十年代就有人尝试过。在那个年代，进行绘图尝试的只是一些程序员。当时所谓的电脑绘图，其实是用编写程序的方法来使屏幕上出现一些简单的图形图表信息，和我们现在理解的电脑绘图概念完全不同。
当历史进入了20世纪70年代，随着计算机图形学的迅猛发展，计算机也越来越多地应用到辅助设计领域，一些辅助设计软件开始出现。这些软件主要应用于工业造型设计，并且只能在某一种昂贵的电脑上才能运行。造成这种现象的原因是因为当时电脑行业仍然是以销售电脑硬件本身来获取利润，软件只是电脑硬件的附带品。在这种经营方式下，“量体裁衣”而定做的软件，当然就只能在某一品牌、某种型号的电脑上才能运行了。由于这些设备的价格令人咋舌，所以在当时只有少数大型企业才有财力拥有它们。
20世纪80年代，1BM和苹果公司相继推出了个人电脑。相对低廉的价格使得个人电脑迅速地普及起来，真正地进入了千家万户。这种迅猛的发展速度使得更多的商家注入大量的资金，对个人电脑的各个应用领域进行了不遗余力的开发与研究。80年代中后期，开始出现了应用于个人电脑上的绘图软件。它们中的一部分是由工作站移植到个人电脑上，另一部分是由软件公司为个人电脑开发的。这个时候设计人员才开始大规模“换笔“，选择电脑作为设计工具。
由于经济和语言等多方面原因，中国的电脑绘图领域仍然落后于发达国家，但这种差距正逐步缩小。在电脑绘图的普及率方面，中国的设计人员使用电脑的比例已经与发达国家没有太大区别。

电脑美术作为一种崭新的艺术形式，出现于20世纪中期，在20世纪末期，由于个人电脑的普及和绘图软件的发展，她在艺术和设计领域迅速发展，扮演了越来越重要的角色。电脑绘图是电脑美术的实现方法，用电脑作为设计工具是当今和未来设计师和部分艺术家必须具备的基本技能。作为一个设计工作者，只有熟练灵活地掌握电脑绘图的有关技能，才能顺利地、高效地将设计构思在电脑中恰当地表现出来。正因为电脑绘图拥有许多传统方法所不可比拟的优点，它已经被广泛地应用在广告设计、包装设计、装饰设计、建筑设计、版式设计、VI设计、产品外形设计、动画制作、数码图像处理等领域，极大地加强了人类的工作能力，并且取得了前所未有的辉煌成果。
随着数字化时代的来临，人类的生活方式也在发生着重大的改变，国际互联网的普及，高性能个人电脑价格的进一步下降，通用绘图软件标准的统一，都使得与电脑绘图相关的行业发展迅速，并且衍生出了不少新兴的朝阳行业和专业，如人机界面设计、信息设计和网页设计，都成为人才需求量比较大的新方向。在更多的专业方向上，随着专业的成熟和竞争的增加，设计人员被要求更加专业化，对电脑绘图的掌握要求更加熟练化，例如2005年一个著名的大型动画公司开始实现了全部工作无纸化，并最终带来了提高15％至20％工作效率的结果。大型设计项目的远程协作在很多国内外公司已经由试验阶段走向成熟并对异地高级人才的整合起到了很大的作用，更多的设计者和艺术家通过电脑软件和网络正尝试着开拓出更多更新的艺术和商业领域。
然而，电脑和绘图软件不管怎么样的先进，终究只是现代社会中人的手臂的延伸，并不能取代人这个万物之灵的大脑。很多准备进入设计领域的人对电脑和绘图软件给予了过高的期待，作出了过高的判断，在一定的阶段，过多地将精力放到绘图软件功能的学习中去，而将自己的设计能力的提高过程与绘图软件的学习完全孤立。
