1.1.2图像的文件格式
Photoshop CS2共支持20多种格式的文件，可以对不同格式的图像进行编辑，也可以根据需要将其另存为其他格式的图像。Photoshop可处理的文件格式常见的有以下几种：
1.PSD格式
PSD格式是Photoshop的默认格式，通常情况下，此格式可以包含图像处理中的全部图层、样式、通道和颜色模式，它是唯一一个支持全部颜色模式的图像格式。
PSD格式所包含的图像数据信息较多，相对其他格式的图像文件占用的空间也较大，但使用这种格式存储的图像修改起来比较方便。
2.TIFF格式
此格式是一种常用的图像格式。通常情况下，在Photoshop中打开此格式的文件时，将会显示图层和图层样式，但是如果是在其他图像软件中打开此格式的文件时，图层将被拼合在一起。
TIFF格式支持带Alpha通道的CMYK、RGB和灰度颜色模式，支持不带Alpha通道的Lab、索引颜色和位图文件。
3.BMP格式
BMP格式是标准的Windows与DOS兼容的图像格式，是微软公司软件的专用格式，也就是常见的位图格式。
BMP格式支持的颜色模式有RGB、索引颜色、灰度以及位图颜色模式，但不支持Alpha通道。
4.JPG、JPEG文件格式
JPEG（*.JPG）格式是一种有损压缩格式，在压缩过程中会出现图像的失真现象，支持真彩色，生成的文件较小，是常用的图像格式。
JPEG格式支持的颜色模式为RGB、CMYK以及灰度模式，但是不支持Alpha通道。
5.EPS格式
EPS格式可以包含矢量和位图图形，基本上所有的图像、示意图和页面排版程序都支持此格式。其最大的优点是可以在排版软件中以低分辨率预览，而在打印时以高分辨率输出。它不支持Alpha通道，但可以支持裁切路径。
EPS格式支持Photoshop所有的颜色模式，可以用来存储矢量图和位图。在存储位图时，还可以将图像的白色像素设置为透明的效果，它在位图模式中也支持透明效果。
6.GIF格式
GIF格式生成的文件较小，常用于网络传输，在网页上看到的图片大多是GIF和JPEG格式的。与JPEG格式相比，GIF格式的优势在于其文件可以保存动画效果。
GIF格式只支持8位索引颜色模式，不支持Alpha通道，不能表现丰富的色彩变化。
7.PCX格式
PCX格式同样支持1～24位的图像，还可以支持RGB、索引颜色、灰度和位图的颜色模式，但它不支持Alpha通道。
8.PNG格式
GIF格式的文件虽然占用空间小，但在图像的颜色和质量上较差，所以可用PNG替代。因为PNG格式可以使用无损压缩的方式压缩文件，支持24位图像，产生的透明背景没有锯齿边缘，可以产生质量较高的图像效果。
